Maybe it's time for the East to not even consider the West and impose it will because talking to you guys is like talking to a wall.

Let me know when the USAPA voting starts because I think this could be over before I even get a chuckle or two from this latest side show. Heck, I heard you guys are hard up for $$$ so if it will give us here on the west a few more laughs we'll even throw in a few bucks to keep the comedy club open.

And, in case you have not heard, we already reached a deal under the direction of your pilot neutral, our pilot neutral and George Nicolau esq.

You are correct it has just begun and it's a sad state of affairs that YOU advocate holding your own pilot group hostage and keeping yourselves in a bankruptcy contract that will no doubt last until 2013. The work has been laid to improve the east pay by at the very least 35%!!! You are sad my friend, very sad indeed.

Maybe it's time for the East to not even consider the West and impose it will because talking to you guys is like talking to a wall.

And how is talking to you any different?? You have always been like a one way street, it's either your way or no way at all. You have refused to accept responsibility for your actions and sought to blame us for your mistakes.

If you are ready to do that, and I mean REALLY READY then you go ahead with your continued poor decisions that has and will continue to keep your east brother and sisters in a poverty style contract.

How much is a 35% raise in YOUR pay check???

2) My "tired old principles" as you've previously refered to such, aren't for sale.

3) Anyone that'd sell theirs as readilly as you seem content to do might as well opt for a miniskirt and seek out a street corner. :down:

I fully understand the sentiment of the US Airways pilots and with age 60 about to change the 56/57-year old pilot is very concerned about the Nicolau Award. Furthermore, Doug Parker is never going to grant a 35% pay raise and you know it.

Furthermore, if he did he would have an enormous problem on his hands with the IAM-M, IAM-FSA, IAM-Trainers, and AFA-CWA, who would want those type if raises too.

The East MEC is meeting via conference right now and I guarantee you the AWA pilots will never see a raise unless there is a compromise to the Nicolau Award problem, they enter into separate Section 6 negotiations, or it is negotiated by USAPA.

As far as a poverty style contract, the East pilots continue to see monthly pay increases as F/O’s become Captain’s, Reserves become Lineholders, Group II F/O’s become lineholding EMB-190 Captain’s, and Narrowbody pilots become Widebody pilots.

Moreover, there are about 200 vacant East pilot positions in November and December alone and next year about 500 more pilots will be added to the seniority list with virtually all of them based in the East.

Meanwhile, as you know John McIlvenna believes you will be in a representational election in a matter of days. How could that be?

According to you, Junebug, Aquagreen, Cactus, Tiger, and others this will never happen. Well…can you tell that to McIlvenna?

I don't know what the majority of the east pilot group will do and truth be told neither do you!! When it comes down to it a 35% pay raise is extremely compelling. You may not need the money but many on both sides of this pilot group do!!

I do EastUS, but do we really need proof?? We have shown you resolve and we have fought and will continue to fight against the injustices that management wishes to impose on both pilot groups.

There will not be a 35% pay raise and you know it. Has Doug Parker ever done that before? The East will not sell their seniority.

And, if there is a 35% pay raise USAPA can get that too, so why not impose a new union on the West pilots and get the pay raise too!

The NMB has not declared a single bargaining unit.

And if they do the West gets to vote also.

And Glass knows exactly what to offer to get you to pass it.

Your group has not voted down a contract or a concession ever!

I must cynically note that the AWA posters most rabid, and utterly vehement about "I want more money!!"...are also the first to claim that they wouldn't come east to get it.

If/when it ever eventually proves true that we can't The events of the next moment of any/all of our lives are unkown issues. Time will tell how bad this must get, but I'd first love to see Alpo gone for starters...and NOT by any means, merely for the Nic fiasco.

Agreed...as per still under Alpo as well. I'm very hopefull that last sad circumstance will change, and fairly soon.

Um yes I do "get it". You tell us everyday and sometimes every hour. I will say again. Bring the election, file the cards, let's gets some resolution on this issue so we can move on from here. I am not going to change my viewpoint based on your threats of imposing a union on me. I am still looking forward to how USAPA plans to represent both of our interests since the West is still locked out of the forums of an entity that says it wants to represent us.

By the way I agree with your last sentence. The feeling is mutual with you USA320Pilot.
