I havent used it in a few years but we got a 75% discount on express, not ground. I did that many times at the fedex office that is right at IAH on JFK. Take your UAL badge.
The last update I saw on this on the company site is 4 years old and it says valid only at fedex office and fedex company owned locations. Not at any of the contracted stores.
