Negotiating Update

Fellow pilot,
Once again this week your Negotiating Advisory Committee, along with Professional Negotiator Scott Petersen, continued the methodical review of the previous negotiating committee’s work. We are happy to report that we have completed a thorough review of most contract sections and have begun the process of fine tuning areas requiring additional attention; however, there are still a few sections that remain. As we communicated in our update last week, this process is time consuming and will take some time.
While we understand and appreciate your concern over the pace of this review process, it is important to mention that in the end only a thorough review and complete preparation will deliver to all US Airways pilots a contract they truly deserve.
