Revenue dilution is a more suitable concern.

They are also upgrading their existing LGA-MSP service to all 757's.

If they wanted to piss us off JFK-LAX would have been a better idea. 😉

ANY route they take on can only make us look better by comparison.

CMH - LGA loses one flight for 4 nonstops
DAL - STL route discontinued
DAL - SAT route discontinued
DAL - MCI 4 new flights for total of 8
DAL - AUS 4 new flights for total of 8
MIA - BWI loses one flight for 2 nonstops
MIA - JAX 1 additional for 6 nonstops

Effective December 13 2007

FLL - SJU 2 757s 1 A300
FLL - PAP upgraded to A300 from 737
FLL - SDQ new 737 one flight daily
FLL - SJO new 737 one flight daily

I think it interesting that they are discontinuing DAL-STL. Whenever I go to book my commuter flights, the DAL-STL flights almost always show in the red (booked). And, since they are being flown by Trans-States (as American Connection), it's not like Eagle needs to deploy the planes elsewhere.

My guess is that it bacame JFK-Stansted. I am also curious what we are losing to start the 2nd flight in the spring 08. I mean with a 767-300 going to be leased to AVP, where else are they coming from?

So the question remains, AUS-LGA is from the capitol of Texas to the capitol of what?

Of course, many New Yorkers (somewhat rightfully) feel NYC is the capitol of the world. Maybe that is what he was getting at?

Joe mentioned DCA-AUS, Mark said "won't happen" and that's when I brought up capitol to capitol exemptions to the perimeter rule.

You mean the 767's that were pulled from the existing route of DFW-ZRH?

That would be a big "YEP" SKYMESS. Actually, I am more irritated about losing my ride to work. Apparantly, I have been riding the J/S all summer for no reason. I am still curious where the 767's are coming for the Spring JFK- Stansted and the lease to AVP starting in JAN.
