West F/A's wants a seperate contract ?

POS planes?

Funny those POS planes especially the widebodies made US a nice profit which you are sharing in and yet you did not make the sacrifice.

Don't worry the POS Plane Trips go very senior, you won't be able to hold it!

Gee name calling?

Take your own advice.

I am just going to comply with whatever revision they stuff in my mailbox next on how we are supposed to crack Coca-Colas open in the aisle the East way.
With this type of thinking, the company will impose any 'ole policy they wish. Recently, the new carts have had strong opposition from the East, and Maureen Dean put an apology letter in our crew mail stating that the company will be reviewing this situation, and that they should have had F/As involved with the implemention of these new "West" carts. We can not just bend over for ALL new procedures--especially when they don't make sense.

Got a fence up your sleeve over there? Maybe thinking of a separate contract of your own? Jeezus, this just gets funnier by the minute. One second your screaming that we need to learn about "UNITY" and then the next you are going to hoard your P.O.S. planes? You should really see a shrink about that multiple personality disorder, you hypocrite.
No...it's not that I don't want to share...If you can hold a Rome trip with me, then more power to you. I just think that you may be on the EMB for a while!!!

Thanks for offering to share, but no EMB's for me...too small. As much as I do love Rome, you can keep FCO, too. I've done my share of international before (IDF-AA 1987-1988) and really have no desire to do it again. I prefer Europe now on my own time, and hopefully if we dont lose any vacation time with the controlling vote of the East in a single contract, I can still do that quite often. Germany is my birthplace and my first home so I take several trips there each year.

I will continue flying my 757 Hawaiis and 757 domestic 3 days, soon to be mixed with brand new, factory delivered, leather interior A321s.

Hate to tell you but the A321s will probably go to East since we are all ready certified to fly them and you are not.

You can keep three 757s when we got 10 767s, nine A330, Three ETOPS 757s and the rest of our 30 757s and our A321s.

I thought that I had already done that, or do you only practice "selective" reading?

Read this from one of more my recent posts:

"I just wanted to let everyone know that I have taken initiative to discuss this issue of separate contracts with our MEC and it looks like they are going to remain bound and tied with the Mediator and stay on the path of a single contract. So, to even debate this issue now is, well, moot."

Christ, it doesn't get any clearer than that!
Scheduling called and they have a nice Hawaii trip for you. Give it up we're tired of hearing the whining, if you want a separate contract so bad then go work for Mesa, they have a whole different contract that will never see the likes of what any of us have now.

I look forward to non-revving on one of your flights since I go home to Hawaii as much as possible. :D

I hope so, too. I hope that you can score a First Class seat, too, since I only work A position. You won't be disappointed, I promise.

Stay on top of the game, 700UW! All West FAs will be qualified on the A321 by March 2007 in accordance with the training timeline.

Simulator is already in the Flight Training Centre in Phoenix.

You might be qualified but you still have to have proving runs if you are adding it to the HP certificate.

I can see that you are quite the whipper-snapper! Can I get a full mini in first? :)

For you, I'll pour doubles! Wheelchair service is complimentary if needed upon arrival. Heck, if I have to I'll even carry you down the stairs in Kona! LOL! As promised, you will not be disappointed.

Since we don't have premixed Mai-Tais, Pineapple Juice, Guava or Mango like other carriers flying to Hawaii provide, I have concocted a pretty good "Aloha Cocktail". Using what little I have, I offer it to all my F pax before landing in the Islands. Rum (and yes, I use the whole mini), half Cran-Apple, half OJ, and a twist of lime. Try it at home, you'll like it. The pax seem to like it and I usually run out of rum the last 45 min. of the flight.

Oh, that was a really mature response. Remarks like this are definitely persuading me to be in "unity" with my East counterparts. Keep it up and maybe we'll all be holding hands before long.

By the way, scheduling doesn't call me with trips. I hold my own, thank you.

Refresh my memory - how many proving runs did US have to do to add the F-28 and B767? Since they were completely different fleet types, not just variations of an existing type. a better question might be how many proving runs did US have to do to add the 737-400?

Jim

PI had that plane, not US, the certificates were all ready merged when US took delivery of the 767 and 737-400 were added to PI then when and the same happened after the merger the certificates were merged.

The certificates were merged and approved by the FAA, no proving runs were necessary as they were part of the fleet all ready.
