US Pilots Labor Discussion

Sure.
You're scumbag assholes.

There you go. Feel better? It is sort of weird. You are the guys making $20+ more an hour than us for Group II, your reserve system is better, you get more vacation, red flag trips, you know how your contract is better than ours (hell, you tell us at every opportunity) but correct me if I am wrong (trust me I know you will) you are the ones self destructing. Why?

Sad

That was the funniest video yet! You guys absolutely got destroyed by Parker. All I heard was massive crying, and Parker methodically taking your arguments down, one, by one. All you pilots did was complain, and he countered with facts. He is going to be the best witness available if you begin to try DFR 2. For US. The part where he told you about how he consulted all the labor lawyers from around the country, and basically asserted what we told you from day one. The Nic was a product of the old bargaining power, yes, he accepted it, but he cannot implement it. He would have done it if he could, and you can't be that dumb not to get that. The Suzie chick telling the group how she HATES, meanwhile the camera moves and lets us all in on a little secret- she brought the kid to the meeting and spouted crap in front of him! Unbelievable. Keep bringing up the first trial- the one Wake shepherded for the flock. Next time, Seeham Team 6 will blow the doors off with Parker providing expert testimony against you. Thankfully we figured out what you haven't yet, those crew meals make you fat. Most of us never ate them anyway in case you never figured it out. There was a lot of lard floating around that room, angry lard. That was one very telling meeting and film. Just a bunch of whining, and no substance. This deal, is over.

How funny will it be 5 years from NOW on LOA93? USAPA has gotten absolutely nowhere in over 3 years. That won't ever change. 85 bucks an hr until you either die or retire. Now THAT is a funny Joke....right?

I am suprised to say that I have to agree with Parker. He reiterates that same thing that Wake and Silver have said (if only hinting) - Why not drive a spike through the forehead of USAPA by voting in a new union that won't be hijacked by a bunch of punks?

All of this Stockholm-like support of Cleary so as to bolster DFR2 is beyond bizarre. Why not do the hard work of building a better union and make Addington just another nightmare to forget in the morning?

A new union can bring a Nic-inclusive TA to a vote and all those who say they'll vote it down will have their vote. All 49.9% of them.

Those who do not devote their time and effort to building a new union (and the turnout for the crewnews in PHX was just a small sample of the template for such a union) are just as guilty as the USAPA intransigents who want to reap the rewards of the merger under the false premise of claiming "their" attrition.

I llike this one better - pretty much wraps it all up in one sentence...

Bob,

I have met two who specifically told me, unprompted by me I might add (I never bring up these matters with east pilots in person) that they would like usapa to just implement the Nic and get a joint contract so they could just drive across town to the parking lot rather than have to commute across the country. One was a DCA A320 captain and the other was a CLT A320 FO.

Further, I have met numerous east pilots from SAN (including luv9's Mr. my money is on Parker), three from LAX, one from RNO, one from LAS, and I know there are a bunch in the bay area.

If I remember correctly, even Sully testified about how his commute would be easier to PHX?

My jab at Luv9 was to show that there are indeed east pilots who are being harmed by usapa and their fellow east pilots.

Also, I was hoping luv9 would have replied because I do not understand his motivation. He says he is in the top 400, yet brags about attrition that would not effect a pilot in the top 400.

One more thing, I have carried over 2 dozen east flight attendants home to western domiciles (most to/from SAN), and forced seperate ops is also hurting them.

wa wa wa..
It' s all about me isn't it? That is why pilots are stupid and has put us in the situation we now find ourselves in.. ALPA a complete failure with No balls to implement a national list in the early 80's... so now we should implement a list so that some PSA guys can get a shorter commute but go 1/2 way down the list?

What's funny is your furloughed that come east will be on a widebody long before you will, can't wait for Kasher to come in, gees you guys will come so unglued, nothing will be funnier than watching that. Does anyone that go to those road shows out west really understand Parker does not like you guys, it's so entertaining to watch your group in action (well really it's sad), do you think Parker has your back? Enjoy the heat out there brother!!! :D

So many inaccuracies in one short post.
90% of east pilots? Really, what percentage do the top 517 WB pilots represent of the total east population? Is it more or less than 10%?

Of course the NIC doesn’t place any large group of east pilots below west pilots other than those furloughed at the PID, so the whole premise of this comment is factually flawed.
Parker will likely be in place for a long time. I would say he has a very good shot of outlasting USAPA’s tenure as the CBA. Of course that is my opinion which carries no more or less weight than your opinion that Parker will not facilitate a pilot contract. You may recall that it is USAPA, not Parker, who is currently and has historically delayed the pilot CBA. Parker/Management has offered up terms for a new contract, has filed the DJ to move the JCBA process along, and has consistently made public statements noting a willingness to see a JCBA be ratified and complete the last remaining items from the merger.

On the other hand, the east pilots and USAPA have 1) walked out on contract negotiations (delay), have willfully ignored the results of binding arbitration (delay), have appealed a district court ruling that would have resolved the seniority question (delay), have filed a MTD to perpetuate the stalemate over section 22 (delay), and have crafted a potentially illegal (DFR) seniority list to replace the one that has already been accepted and which was upheld based on the merits in a federal district court (delay).

Can you prove Parker is lying? From statements made by Parker, Kirby and others, it seems that the UA/US merger was fully ready to be announced and consummated until Continental stepped in to persuade UA to reconsider CO as a merger partner. How can that be if the east pilot contract really does matter in terms of allowing Parker to structure a merger deal?

Do you have facts and proof or are you just counter-transferring your frustration with USAPA on to Parker?

**********************

why instead of complaining why don't you support a new contract so we can vote on it once a deal is reached and get to your nirvana...

I say support USAPA and then we can get this done and you can file your DFR 2...

why are you so worried? and come up with what you consider my post flawed.

It is JIM, that EAST pilots flying EAST airplanes will upgrade with EAST seniority on an EAST system with EAST ATTRITON, and as so with the WEST! MM! And the problem is? MM!

Sad, they are especially vile and cutting because they have FINALLY figured out what Parker told them all along. They CANNOT cash that Nicolau. It was just a bargaining position with their FORMER bargaining agent. Now it has come down to an angry and shrill woman, hating in front of her kids before her CEO. Pretty sad.

This is ESPECIALLY fitting, you quoting out of context. These guys had this figured out long ago Jim. Parker just backed up what they told you all along. FORMER BARGAINING AGENT. Merely a position of negotiations, seniority is negotiable, not enforceable.........

You of all people bear much of the responsibility for ALPA being removed. You should have listened to Freund. That guy understood far more than you did. But take it to the wall you did, against the advice of Prater himself. The amateur "leaders" out west, between Leonidas or Johnny Mac have cost the west pilots much. P.S. How can you even begin to refer to Wake? That guy was spanked hard by his superiors in San Francisco for blowing that deal. Unbelievable.
