Our Captains would be reduced, many DISPLACED to lower positions making a hell of alot less working weekends and holidays while someone hired more than 12 plus years after them fills THEIR SEAT! You know it TRADER, remember when the WEST coast closed, LAX, SFO,SAN , PIT, BWI, what does DAL, UA, say about capacity, NO THANK YOU! MM! No one wants a hub in PHX, it will be spun off, get rid of alot of problems for the surviving carrier!

Your problem is that the longer it takes to get to a an integration, the bigger the price the east will pay. As your favorite lawyers say, seniority is buying power and 16+ years at the time of the merger didn't buy much. Even if USAPA does ultimately prevail on not using the Nic (a long shot) it's DOH based "solution" will guarantee a victory in a DFR trial. :lol:

Watched the crew news video. Parker was spanking all over the westies.

I felt like I was watching Saturday Night Live. I couldn't stop laughing.

Can you imagine what the melt down in the west will be like when Kasher comes in?

What do you think the FAA will do? Take the US Airways certificate?

Not allow the 2 sides to ever fly together? That kind of defeats the single carrier so we can split ourselves from usapa and keep our dues money. That also keeps you guys from using DOH and the west as furlough fodder. Separated we can get a contract on our own without interference from you clowns.

Please show it to the FAA. A single video of pilots talking to the CEO might not get you far. But records of union press releases and FAA logs citing false safety events might cause a stir.

Yes I did vote for LOA 93, we were in bankruptcy and the PHL and PIT Reps were too stupid to realize they had no support or leverage so they negotiated a contract worse than the company's offer.

Here long has USAPA been the CBA? Three years and nothing to show for it.

I just flew with another East Captain who agrees with me so your numbers are a little off.

Sorry, but if YOU watched the tape, Parker said that BECAUSE of the RLA he is UNABLE to negotiate with anyone but USAPA. USAPA would have to negotiate a "separate" contract, which they are NOT about to do. West pilots CANNOT get a "contract on our own" under separate operations. Maybe IF WE SEPARATED, then you can get your own "union", but until that happens, only USAPA is the LEGALLY RECOGNIZED BARGAINING AGENT. Welcome back to reality and the facts.

Do you think that is going to happen anytime soon? Do those guys look ready to sign a POS contract just for the Nicolau? No way!

It's amazing to me that someone like yourself is so willing to sacrifice so much for so little...so YOU voted for a CBA that THEY put forth that was WORSE??? What kind of logic was that? If anything, you all should have voted NO so as your vote DID'NT support the very CBA that the PHL and PIT reps put out. Disingenious if you ask me.(opinion). Pot meet kettle.

I go back to Captain on the Airbus in July in CLT. Parker said there's more airplanes in CLT/DCA/PHL than there are pilots, while there's more pilots than airplanes in PHX. Lets just see where this all plays out for YOUR future when the new hires on the east get off probation in a year and advancement opportunities accelerate for them. Do you think THEY'LL vote for a CBA that will let YOU jump in on top of them if separate operations give them better advancement opportunities?? I can only speculate, but I know how I would vote if I were them....their vote carries the same weight as either YOURS or MY vote after their year is over.

MM, the DC guy has "found religion". He gets it now. It wasn't USA320.

It is very funny how all the east posters know everyones identity, even on an anonymous forum.

I guess it is possible that there is only one DCA 320 CPT who lives in PHX, so I should not have mentioned it.

Usapa being the scab organization it is, probably approached the guy and pointed out how senior he would be if he could get into PHX with their scab list. In other words, he

Don't know what it will be like in 5 years except that I will be 3 yrs. in to catching up on my fishing unless I hit the powerball before dec. 2012.
