Yes, I am arrogant, I will admit that. I am proud of my co-workers for being the professionals they are. Those in the crew news are especially sharp. Mitch will soon make an excellent attorney. Suzie is one of the sharpest pilots you could find. Gary (the guy in the raincoat) has published three pretty good books on aviation.

Are you kidding me? I just watched a good portion of the PHX crew news, and I don't think anyone was able to articulate a sentence or a question. What I did see was a room full of people that did nothing but whine and cry.

However I did hear Doug say to them that every other union has gone, with the exception of the F/As, which will be Date of Hire! I also heard him say that the growth is on the east not the west.

As a side note, to the guy that was complaining about Joe Monda, let me say this. Joe Monda does not work for United flying Captain on a triple 7 with 6500 pilots below him and neither do you! But I suppose, according to you and the way you make it sound, that is his fault.

PS: No whining and complaining. A little forceful honesty. Got your attention, though, didn't it? It's obvious the west is all in and I think that unnerves you because whining and complaining is all you can do.
 
It sounds like a typical crew news to me. Each side reading what it wants to, but deep down we know whos thumb is in our eye. Or at least we should anyway.
 
Workplace harassment laws were violated in this video numerous times. It is the company's responsibility to take care of this situation or be held liable.

File a grievence with the scab association, and see if you can get the company to collude with you in a violation of individual West pilots LMRDA rights.

Ah, you are finally getting it. Joe does not work for UAL, but if the scabs at usapa had there way, in a UAL LCC merger, Joe would instantly be a 777 captain, stealing someone else's job and leapfroging from the absolute last position on his list to 777 captain.

But enough of the UAL hypothetical. I work for LCC with over 3000 pilots below me, but if Joe and usapa get their way, Joe gets to leepfrog from the absolute last guy on the list to senior to me. Not his fault, unless he supports the job stealing usapa scabs.

You along with your buddy, must be absolutely dillusional. Certainly you don't think for one minute that Joe would instantly be a 777 capt..I have been through 4 mergers and I have never experienced or have seen that occur.

Also...Unless there are 3000 pilots between AAA and AWE that were hired after you, then it appears that YOU are the real scab!

You don't think that would happen. But what you expect to happen in our merger is for Monda to go from the bottom F/O to senior to 700 west captains.

You forgot the ignorant part, you need to accept that. Time is important to me too. I managed to raise two children and never missed a complete Christmas, or birthday. My schedule gave me enough flexibility to see most of the soccer and lacrosse games, and the band events. I was paid well enough to take care of all their needs and most of their wants. It amazes me when you guys preach to me about my career. It's not been what I dreamed, that went away with PI, but that's life. It has been better than a lot of my peer's and I will stack it up against what it would have been at AWA any day.
 
Well, loved the PHX comedy show seems to be alot of dysfunction going on, just want you to know luvn737 (John) we supoort you in your attempt to get rid of Ferguson and company. Keep up the good work :lol: Once he is gone the PHX pilots might start to see some movement in their careers.

Likewise when Cleary and Mowrey are removed from the East side.

First of all, Monda is not the bottom F/O

Secondly, Joe will never be able to take a seat from any one of the 700 capts. you state with conditions and restrictions. Additionally, he has only 5 years and that's if he stays till 65, so relax!

In contrast, you want to see someone with 13 less years of service(2/97) to be senior forever to someone who has been a capt. for over 22 years(11/85)And that is okay with you?

It sounds like you and I are near each other on the nic, and you'd like me farther away. :D That part I don't actually mind. I can understand how an east pilot next to me on the nic feels, and especially how the long term fos only a mere couple years behind that 85 hire feel, it's human. It's understandable.

But by the same token, can't some of the east understand where a brute force attempt at submitting us isn't going to go over so well?
