Absolutely, management has taken the division between the pilots and used it to their advantage; without giving any thought to how that restricts/interferes with safety. And I blame, Paul Morel for allowing that to happen. Hell, he is the VP of Safety. But, what our union has done is take that short sidedness of the company (I am so tired of dealing with the Parker's & Kirby's of this company) and used it to their benefit. WE ALL NEED TO STOP USING SAFETY AS A BARGAINING CHIP!!! (no pun intended)

This statement and that attitude is stunning, and appalling. Safety is not a "tool". A card to be played when you want something.

For all of the evil that you guys place on ALPA the one thing they never did was use safety as a weapon. No matter what the relationship between labor and management if ALPA said something was unsafe the company believed them. usapa using safety as a "tool" to get DOH seniority is sickening.

It really is true east pilots have no credibility, integrity or honor.

"It's war bud." Arbitration was supposed to stop the war. But only if both side have the honor to live up to their agreements. Safety is not part of any war other than to keep pilots and passenger alive and safe. It is not to improve your bidding position or contract.

Solidarity is an interesting word. According to the general definition it is a "union or fellowship arising from common responsibilities and interests, as between members of a group or between classes, peoples, etc."

While solidarity is an important word, it is preceeded alphabetally by HONOR, INTEGRITY and RESPONSIBILIY. The reason that the East US Air pilots do not have our support for a new contract (as negotiated by our completely inexperienced NAC....."What can we give the company today??"), is because you have FAILED to recognize the result of a final & binding merger process (not tu mentions that they are GIVING AWAY THE FARM!).

You will eventually be force fed that seniority list legally, AND you all will have lost MILLIONS and MILLIONS of dollars and TIME OFF that will NEVER be recovered.

I do know the words of Solidarity Forever". Do you know the word of Proverbs 10:9?
