US Pilots Labor Discussion

MM,

Thanks for the cogent, well written post. Now if I only knew someone who spoke MUTANDIS, I might understand it!
Well lets try a situation you do understand. Where are the captain jobs at the bases you left?, Where are those bases?, did you displace a pilot EAST to keep your position? Was he hired years after you? Did he take a paycut after being displaced, How many of the PSA pilots hold INT'L capt positions(premium pay)! Are the bases they left still there or are they just remnants of an airline that was?, you see DP will downsize a leisure market or even close it, and where do those pilots go? We have all seen it. Sorry if it is beyond your level of dudeism understanding! MM! BTW for the majority, the AOL math is a bust!

Using a list based on age is crazy. It would allow each pilot to retire at the top and maximize his or her earnings. We certainly don't want that!

Good God man. Leonidas pamphlet provided you a seniority chart, usapa's chart is Eric's AGE VS. Eric's Seniority Percentage. I ask you again what does Eric's Age vs. seniority position have to do with anything? Please explain to me why and AGE chart is used?

This is funny! I can hear you spinning in the desert from here!

I didn't make the graph, but try again. Replace the age with the date he turns that age and see if it helps you.

Ok, i understand clowns are by nature slow, so ill ask again, why is age the basis of the chart?

Your 1987 hire date will be realized soon next to the 2001 hires at America West. Eventually, the truth will come out, your lies cannot last forever. Take care.

Wrong again, but what's new? I have yet to see you right about anything so far. '86 DOH

You take care too, or as some of our women like to say down here "bless your heart".

I don't know any clowns personally so I can't speak about them being "slow", but you, you make it obvious. Is prechil your sister?

nic4us - you can lead'em to water but you can't make'um drink. So let'um die of thirst (and delusions)...

Jim

Jim,
there really must be more to the story..

I wish you would enlighten us your utter hatred and disdain for the EAST which you were once part of....

The east is not as you make them out to be....

and please don't give me your normal rhetoric.

Not too fuzzy math: Kirby proposal was AWA + 3%. In testimony the company stated that they estimated it might take an additional 7-8% on top of that to nudge the contract over the line. Who is to say that we couldn't have forced them to 15% more than the Kirby proposal?

An AWA captain makes about $143 and hour. With an 11% increase, that makes it $158 an hour. At an 85 hour month & 12 months.....a yearly wage of $161,160 vs. the approximate east narrow body current pay (same hours & months) @ $127,500. The exact number would be $33,660. This is based solely on the testimony during the Addington trial, and as such a rough estimate (had the AAA JNC not been instructed to leave the JNC table, and had the AAA pilot group chosen to not force a collective bargaining agent vote).

Considering that (at the time) there were contracts being negotiated NORTH of $160.00 (remember Spirit? $186 an hour!!) an hour for narrow body, I believe it is reasonable for our pilots to have gotten $165-185 an hour for those jobs. All the effort and money spent chasing DOH would have gone a very long way to getting that wage for captains and perhaps $125-130 for the FO's.

This will end, eventually. I may be wrong, but I do believe that ultimately the Nicolau award will be only seniority list recognized by the courts & LCC. When that happens, the amount of money that "we" have left in LCC's pocket will be amazing.

The ball is in your court. We stand firmly on legal, moral & ethical grounds. We are funded & will not lay down. Do you continue to delay the inevitable and lose all the wages, benefits & time off.....or do we change USAPA into a union for ALL US Airways pilots? The choice is yours.

******************************

You are living in a delusional world... The company has no plans to give us anything... Your numbers are so flawed it's laughable..

the POS Kirby is on the table and that is it...

stuff your moral legal and ethical bs...

this will be resolved in court and even if a court rules against using the NIC I'm sure the fight will go on..... I'm sure we will fight to protect those that have been so harmed by the NIC>

What would be really interesting would be to see Colello's chart. What would Colello's chart look like compared to Nicolau and stand along. WITHOUT the merger. Let's see the west number one guys chart. Compare that to DOH and the Nicolau.

Trying to compare POST merger to PRE merger is a waste of time.

Tell ya what, you tell me Eric's age and I will help you with the math needed to convert the graph to dates. Deal?

So the only "facts" in this mailer is that USAPA doesn't think the Nic. award was "FAIR"?

Guess What Scabs. You were never, and will never be, in a position to determine "fairness". It was never up to you to begin with. $e$ham is a gold digging liar.
