Not too fuzzy math: Kirby proposal was AWA + 3%. In testimony the company stated that they estimated it might take an additional 7-8% on top of that to nudge the contract over the line. Who is to say that we couldn't have forced them to 15% more than the Kirby proposal?
An AWA captain makes about $143 and hour. With an 11% increase, that makes it $158 an hour. At an 85 hour month & 12 months.....a yearly wage of $161,160 vs. the approximate east narrow body current pay (same hours & months) @ $127,500. The exact number would be $33,660. This is based solely on the testimony during the Addington trial, and as such a rough estimate (had the AAA JNC not been instructed to leave the JNC table, and had the AAA pilot group chosen to not force a collective bargaining agent vote).
Considering that (at the time) there were contracts being negotiated NORTH of $160.00 (remember Spirit? $186 an hour!!) an hour for narrow body, I believe it is reasonable for our pilots to have gotten $165-185 an hour for those jobs. All the effort and money spent chasing DOH would have gone a very long way to getting that wage for captains and perhaps $125-130 for the FO's.
This will end, eventually. I may be wrong, but I do believe that ultimately the Nicolau award will be only seniority list recognized by the courts & LCC. When that happens, the amount of money that "we" have left in LCC's pocket will be amazing.
The ball is in your court. We stand firmly on legal, moral & ethical grounds. We are funded & will not lay down. Do you continue to delay the inevitable and lose all the wages, benefits & time off.....or do we change USAPA into a union for ALL US Airways pilots? The choice is yours.

You are living in a delusional world... The company has no plans to give us anything... Your numbers are so flawed it's laughable..
the POS Kirby is on the table and that is it...
stuff your moral legal and ethical bs...
this will be resolved in court and even if a court rules against using the NIC I'm sure the fight will go on..... I'm sure we will fight to protect those that have been so harmed by the NIC>
