US Pilots Labor Discussion

Ames: "I didn't argue that point, simply brought to light that you are more verbose than most advising everyone on the wisdom of silence. Struck me funny." Now that, I can't argue with ;)

Beancounter: "It’s like seeing a sub captain promoted after running one aground or a CEO who tanks a company hired to run another one."

While our opinions differ on the person noted; the sub example makes perfect sense. The last, very sad part though, is that all too often a CEO who trashes a company gets hired to again demonstrate their "expertise" at others.

Yes, but its at a different company.

Stockholders don't usually put the same guy in to once again trash their company.

EastUS1,

Maybe I just associate Bradford with Cleary.

I worked at a commuter where the VP ran things and the CEO was paid the big salary to sit in his office and drink, occasionally emerging to nail a secretary. He previously had helped run two commuters into the ground. Absolutely baffled me.

Beancounter:

Understood. I don't see those gents as cut from the same bolt of cloth. Were I to be of the west side, I'd likely feel otherwise.

"Only one eastie posting and I see others logged on here.

I wonder if they've been told to stand-down from the boards."

An interesting excuse for a "mind" you have there. Who would be "telling" anyone such BS? No matter =Typical.
Been a few days now east and only 2 easties posting. Are you sure you guys didn't miss the memo to stay off the boards?

No breeze, no claxoMM, no Pi, no ngu, and no luvthe9 - all gone.

I'm wondering if they had a Jonestown thing with Cleary passing out the juice and promising everyone that if they had a sip all their DOH dreams would come true.

Option 1) Hmmm...Nope, don't believe I missed any memo....Wait! (insert loud sounds of approaching rotors)....Gasp!...the black helicopter's landing in the driveway!....Aaargh! ;)

Option 2) There's not much immediately happening to comment on, and, just perhaps, maybe, whoulda' thunk...some "may" tire of puerile nonsense such as your: "I'm wondering if they had a Jonestown thing with Cleary passing out the juice and promising everyone that if they had a sip all their DOH dreams would come true." Just sayin' ;)

See for yourself. Just get the keys to the double-secret-probation file drawer and look through the most recent conspiracy memos.....

Anyone want to make a prediction when judge Silver wil rule?

My estimate is she will release her final opinion June 25th.

She will tell the company they don't have to use the Nicolau but they will get sued if they don't and will lose. Not much to appeal on that ruling.

We will be APA and that union will not waste the time or money perusing an appeal. (remember the majority decides what is best for all of the pilots) The APA and company will accept the ruling and we go to arbitration using the Nicolau and AA lists.

I think there is a LOT going on right now, especially behind the scenes.

That all seems to fall into the "No Sh&%" Category. Which of course means the East is utterly incapable of understanding the situation.

Not much happening? When has that stopped claxoMM or luv from putting up their occasional incoherent verbal fit of a post?

Maybe the web board change scared them away. We all know how you east guys handle change.

And you're here.

We are busy digesting the new merger news.

A merger, I might add, that no west pilot will be participating in.

Considering this has been out a while and you're still digesting the new, I'm not surprised at all. Takes a bit of time to kick that gray matter into gear when you're old like most easties.

And the logic!! East knows the CoC won't kick in yet allows his reps to continue with their lies unchallenged.

And as for us not participating, our lawyers were actually talking to APA before USAPA was!!! LMAO!!! This Nic thing a a big deal to the company and the APA so I'd say the west has a seat at the table.
