US Pilots Labor Discussion

Also, what's so scary about suing the APA? The law applies to them as well. Leonids will spank the crap out of them just like they have to USAPA...assuming APA is as arrogantly stupid as USAPA which is impossible. APA is going to cooperate to graduate. Goodbye USCABA goodbye DOH.

Purely your opinion, which entirely failed to even address the question = "....So....What has been heard to offer even the slightest doubt that the APA are all salivating over instantly accepting the nic for a US list? I mean really; Why are you now so spring loaded towards the usual "PROMISING TO SUE" bit?"

"I expect not the slightest shred of any honest answer to that." Sadly; that assumption proved correct.

Explain this bit from the vaunted...ummmm..."Army" of leonidas: "We know many of you are wondering what impact this has on the seniority dispute. At this time, the answer is straightforward: nothing. In the not-to-distant future, these events will likely create the “painfully ripe” threshold which Judge Tashima set as a condition for the West pilots to pursue DFR II."

No explanation for that? Well then, how about just this part? "....these events will likely create the “painfully ripe” threshold which Judge Tashima set as a condition for the West pilots to pursue DFR II."

Last question: How could there possibly be any "threshold" crossed, "In the not-to-distant future" if APA's supposedly just fine with the nic?

Just about everyone here knows what Jim is talking about. Why don't you actually put some effort into finding it yourself.

Kirby was double speaking during the call. In one breath he said that PHX and PHL are doing about the same and in the next breath he says how good international is doing. Where is the majority of the International flying from? PHX?

Ha Ha. PHL is doing very well and PHX is just hanging on.

Both are well aware of what the 9th Ct of Appeals said, about USAPA being free to bargain seniority. That is the final authority in this matter. They get that, western div pilots ignore it. To their continued frustration.

What cracks me up about the scabs is they are completely devoid of situational awareness.

The West does not "ignore" the 9ths ruling...the West embraces the 9ths ruling.

From Tashima..."We leave usapa free to bargain for alll USAirways pilots......under the pain of an unquestionalby ripe DFR....once a contract is ratified."

The 9th straight up told usapa that the West will have your nuts in a sling if you ever get that DOH pipedream passed, and yet scabs like Claxon, Cleary, James (Continental scab) Ray, are out there telling the public usapa is free to scab West jobs.

No worries though...any interested party is also aware of the 9ths ruling. so, the company, the APA or whomever is not likely going to get in bed with the scabs because...the 9th already said unfavorable non-NIC=DFR=huge damage award to West pilot class.

I see we are hitting the margaritas early, but it is Saturday. Are you THREATENING TO SUE THE APA? Wow, who saw that one coming........

Read the AOL update.

The West is positioned, organized and funded to sue whoever attempts to violate our LMRDA rights, and/or our contractual agreements with our employer.

Oh, and we could probably put together a sayonara scabs party on a moments notice.

"Interesting". For the benefit of all of us that "missed" it; please cite the portion of the 9th's rulings inclusive of: "...the 9th already said unfavorable non-NIC=DFR=huge damage award to West pilot class."..especially the "huge damage award to West pilot class" part?

So sue. Dismissal is a concept you should be quite familiar with.
Yawn.

They haven't done anything. I doubt they will either. They merely know the consequences of using something other than the Nic.

Familiar with dismissal? Hardly. Its only happened once and that was on ripeness, not merit.

You guys? Now there is some familiarity.

Ready? Go!

Keep denying reality...

You mean the part where says "As we look forward, Phoenix is actually doing better" ?

Actually? He sounds surprised

Domestic pax yields 3rd qtr
Another one who likes to deny reality. At least you put some work into it, picking a small detail - but then pretend it's the whole picture....DCA should tell you what's wrong with your attempt...

Jim

Feel perfectly free then, to present "the whole picture" of PHX for the benefit of we unwashed, ignorant masses ;)

 Oh no, I don't see SEA on there, quick someone call Alaska and tell them to shut down the base! Will PHX shrink after a merger? If the local economy doesn't pick up, combined with the fact it's more efficient for scheduling to have more pilots based east, yes it probably will some, but it's not going anywhere. Give it a rest, I'd be more concerned with PHL shrinkage. Besides, what do you want us to all go back east and bump you out of your seats? I would think not.
