US Pilots Labor Discussion

Hypocrites?

West pilots claimed AWA saved US when it acquired it. Truth: Saved both airlines.

Now:

East pilots claim US will save AA with a merger. Truth: Long term, better for both airlines.

Irony maybe?

Bean

Where is it that the east pilots (except for one rep who is clearly deluded) are saying they saved AA? The AA pilots are in no danger of losing their jobs, merely their level of compensation. There is really nothing to save them from, as they will continue to work at AA no matter how AA comes out of bankruptcy.

I'm sure they well aware of that and want to avoid the DFR that will surely follow and thus they will use the Nic.
I see we are hitting the margaritas early, but it is Saturday. Are you THREATENING TO SUE THE APA? Wow, who saw that one coming........

You have not figured out yet that the fences will only be around the AA wide bodies? That is it.

"figured out"? = No need to "figure out" any fences yet. "..the fences will only be around the AA wide bodies"...Exactly where did you pull that "information" from?

No luv, not threatening. We are PROMISING TO SUE the APA and the company if anything other than the Nicolau is used for our end of the SLI.

I think you're the last one on this board to catch on to that.

Congrats.

I can smell the "fear" from both the APA and the company, even from this distance.....

Again; I'm forced to wonder. AOL and your lawyers met with the APA some time ago "and there was much rejoicing" on these boards from that "brilliant coup"....So....What has been heard to offer even the slightest doubt that the APA are all salivating over instantly accepting the nic for a US list? I mean really; Why are you now so spring loaded towards the usual "PROMISING TO SUE" bit?

I expect not the slightest shred of any honest answer to that.

The APA is most certainly going to take the path of least resistance to HURRY UP and get this deal closed. They have a gun to their heads and an offer of salvation in their hands. We all know what they're going to do. Do you SERIOUSLY think the APA gives a rats, ass about your stupid seniority dispute? Not their problem. They have a Mountain of problems all their own. They aren't going to delay this transaction one hour longer than they have to. Nic is the ONLY safe harbor for the APA and the Company.

The Company has made that abundantly clear in their Court filings. Once Silver rules the Company could be held Liable this is over. That liability btw, will be inherited by your next union...the APA. We already know a DOH list is a DFR thanks to Addington. So does everybody else. Nobody is going to touch Lee $ehams play book. They have way WAY to much to lose if they do.

Also, what's so scary about suing the APA? The law applies to them as well. Leonids will spank the crap out of them just like they have to USAPA...assuming APA is as arrogantly stupid as USAPA which is impossible. APA is going to cooperate to graduate. Goodbye USCABA goodbye DOH.

Not a very sound argument at all. APA doing a hurry up job is like you buying a house knowing there are termites infesting it. Their termite infestation is the western group, and it is a problem. They are looking out for their own, and the best way to insure a nice transition upward is to capture the eastern division obviously present attrition, and carry it forward. That method is to avoid the Nic at all costs. They are not as naive as you think, not at all. They will handle the termites quickly. They are not afraid of you at all. They have no obligation to insure a group of entitled gets their Nicolau. They will take care of the termites and move on.
