What if the west abandons its Nic argument in exchange for the elimination of the 517 exclusion zone?

Seems to me that a 3 way SLI allows the east to rid themselves of the Nic and the west to rid themselves of the 517 clause - which may benefit the west more in a slotted scenario with APA.
You're not getting a do over.

Abide by the agreement we made or you can try and screw up a potential merger like it is rumored Cleary tried to do with United.

Nice dodge. Either one believes in relative seniority = where you are at the time of the merger.....or doesn't. Any notions to modify "where you are at the time.." betray a clear lack of actual principles in this issue. Suggesting modification of existing reality to suit the nic amounts to nothing more than "woulda'/coulda'/shoulda" fantasies.

I'll pass since my friend LS wants mre to play nice in the sandbox. ;)

Enjoy your cherished fantasies. I hope that astoundingly brilliant response didn't melt any internal circuitry ;)

I rest my case = "In my estimation; "civilized" must come from within any person, and requires some degree of actual respect and reasonable concern for others."

I'll leave others to place their "faith" in the tribal shamans/arbitrators ;)

Well, then by your own definition (to which that response was made) you are not a civilized person. I knew as much.

They believe in relative integrity, generally speaking..

Where is your Nic? I will tell you. Nowhere, you lost that years ago. You can take that to the bank. It makes me chuckle every time I hear you begging for it, especially the Kohler man.

Funny. I did notice that you did not deny the possibility of posting for/as Mike Cleary.

I see it just a bit differently, I think that it's fairly obvious that HP saved AAA from Chap 7. The acquisition date was moved forward (back?) to an earlier date to make payroll. However, I believe that East pilots have returned the favor in spades. LOA93 wages for the last 7 years have more than paid that debt. Without that selfless sacrifice, I do not believe that the new company would have lasted without another Chap 11. And they did it out of their own pockets! You would think that Mr. Parker would at least recognize their sacrifices and reward them with something. Maybe a spot on the board? Maybe a simple "Thank You", a' la Jack Nicholson from "A Few Good Men"... Oh yeah... It has cost the West pilots a whole lot of money also... Just not quite as much as the East pilots. Thanks to all who made that happen!!!

OK, I'll say it, thank you east pilots. Thank you for not accepting the binding arbitration which you demanded, decided by the very arbitrator you desired. Thank you for walking out of joint negotiations and selflesslly remaining on LOA 93 all for the altruistic purpose of saving the company money and providing our beloved CEO with the bonuses he truly deserves.

"Oh Yeah!??"..."Wanna' step outside the school house punk !!??" ;)

Is that threat?

PS: my dad was a Golden Gloves boxer. I learned a lot from my dad over the years. One of the things he taught me, as well as my Sensei in martial arts training was never use your skills against the weak. So no, eastus, I will decline your offer to step outside the school house.

Piedmont didn't the 517 clause go away with age 65? And I think you're doing yourself a disservice thinking this will be a three way integration. This is the same mentality that was perpetuated by our BPR with snapbacks DOH and a new contract. I've learned that our side has put out little more than fud.

Being a certified class IS LEGAL STANDING YOU MORON!

2007. One more time. 2007 was when the Nicolau Award came out. It isn't being used today is it? Wonder why? You need a combined CBA to make it a vote in possibility. It isn't happening. Now you say your airline is merging with APA. If it somehow does, it will be a three way seniority integration, without the Nicolau because the Nicolau never was in any CBA. How stupid can the western division pilots be? You would have to have a vote with a contract with the eastern, with the numbers to vote in the Nicolau, then another round of negotiations with AA.Do you really think your management would go through that just to give you your unachievable the chance for a vote when they want to merge? You mean absolutely nothing to them. You are totally delusional. It will NEVER happen. TICK TOCK. Game over. Sue away, you are delusional.

You really don't have a clue on this. You and the Dr. keep the Leonidas dream alive, not facts.
