The west totally blew every issue of magnitude to cross their plate. Pay parity was another. Well, they will pay when we win LOA 93. Who will even begin to worry about a contract if we get that win? It can take years as far as most everybody I fly with is considered. Who advises this group? Seriously, they have gotten absolutely the worst advice on every issue that is out there.
 
Your aspirations with the Nic have been systematically destroyed by every professional entity that has come into contact with it. Your Nicolau had no validity, and was unattainable. Your group was the last to figure it out. Everyone else figured it from day one. "All the risk lies with the West....." No truer words have been spoken, and spoken very early on.

They totally blew their chance to get a decent deal on the Wye. Even Prater expressed grave concern with what was an absolute miscarriage of ALPA merger intent. Kind of like a guy following an armored car, and the doors fly open. The guy knows it is wrong to keep the money, but instead of turning it in, and getting a decent reward and satisfaction of doing the right deed, he takes it home. Later on, instead of being a good lesson for everyone, his deeds land him in jail, and set a horrendous lesson in ethics and conduct. The west got their windfall, and ran with it. They were warned to do the right thing, but went for it all. The time to pay for that is now, and the judges of the 9th have seen their plan has lost its' way.
 
Mike Cleary and USAPA, this has been a tremendous several weeks. Wait till the LOA 93 pay comes in. We are having a parade in Charlotte with King Mike!
 
Amazing how a group of people in what some may term a guild or craft would seek to undermine that same entity for personal gain. Always seeking to take advantage of another craft member, who was hired years earlier and in the same profession. And that craft member has no input within the company where they practice their trade. The west is absolutely guilty of seeking to undermine the profession of airline pilot. It is appalling what went on here, and thankfully, has been stopped cold. God save the 9th!

Is the fake union proposing a new list based on time served in the industry? Absolutely not. Is usapa proposing a seniority list based on when we first got our commercial liscense? No. The association of seniority theifs wants to renege on their contractual commitments, steal from their co-workers, and has ruined this company and threatens the greater industry in general.

So save the righteous attitude for when you are supporting gains for the industry, not just looking to weasel out of a done deal.
 
I saw nothing like what you are claiming in any of the 9th rulings. Sounds like personal requests coming from a disgruntled and worried west pilot. The end is coming for any and all things associated with the Nic and its' ilk. It is over. The next big win is either MDA or the LOA 93 pay. I say the LOA 93 win is coming soon. Love the way the company tried to get around the freeze language. Get the champagne chilled for that one.

Take from the 9th whatever you want. You are not getting out of the Nic.

I am quite disgruntled, but not worried. usapa is going to pass a brick when the company tells them to keep their DOH list. What could the company possibly gain by breaking their contract and abetting usapa. If they accept usapa's DOH list there are absolutely no upsides for the company, and a potentially huge downside.

MDA. I heard they missed some filling or something, and that the last word there is ALPA is asking for summary judgement. The furloughed guys are not going to help you renege on the Nic.

LOA 93, I would say get used to it, but then, you all ready are.

I am sure to a pilot working under the industry's worst contract, and yet still has a superiority complex, it would seem funny.

I am guessing furloughed is a status you are familiar with. Odds are 1:2 if you ever were an east pilot, you would be very familiar with that status.

Get very familiar with the word acceptance.
 
What is going to be very interesting is going to be the west getting a decent pay raise, protections, and then make a case for being harmed. Harm is definitely in the eye of the beholder, and a jury is not going to buy them being harmed when DOH is a method of integration in Allegheny Mohawk, and right in the American Arbitration books as being a fair method. Have at it west. I predict more disappointment, and money wasted.

Swan, nobody is getting a pay raise.

We have this fake union called usapa that is going to get parked at the negotiating table when they are unwilling to compromise on their position regarding seniority.

Relax, you still have your snapback pipedream, at least until the arbitrator rules that indeed your contract is now amendable, but not expired.

Waiting. Now's there's something I can agree with you on. USAPA has taught the east how to wait. Wait some more.

But no one BS, Luvthemines, etc, has yet explained exactly what tangible benefit USAPA has provided for the multi-millions they have confiscated from the pilots.

Try talking to pilots at other airlines.

They despise us because they see we are unethical and don't honor agreements we make.


I have talked to MANY of them. Your statement is only true when framed as “the East pilots not accepting the arbitration”. BUT, cite a few examples of how Nic put this list together and it would surprise you how sympathetic they become.

I suppose it depends on whose moccasins you are walking in.

Well, for the umpteeth time, that is a matter of opinion. You expect the west to accept the total windfall of a DOH list with C&R's. Stalemate once again.

And to clarify, the excuses I'm referring to are the fact that the injunction still stood while we waited to hear about the en banc hearing. That should all be gone soon, removing any obstacle for USAPA following through on their promise/threat so we can all move on to the next step... which will be more litigation.
