So what has USAPA produced so far, other than securing the previous achievements of ALPA? Based on this, what makes you think USAPA can produce anything on it's own of benefit to the pilots of USAirways?

Fact of the matter is you do indeed want something the West has..........period.

You want West seniority, West status, West jobs that were rightfully retained through the Nicolau award. You want them so bad you threw the union off the property and voted in the DFR association. SSM&P lit your fuse and you have blown millions trying to take more than you deserve.

The Arbitrator was not senile, the judge and jury were not biased. Even the 9th has now warned you. You either give up the condescending attitude toward the West, live up to your contracts, and accept what you have, or it will be over for you. Get it yet?

So far, no NIC.
 
My guess is that the next step will be to wait for a contract and see what USAPA and management do. It has still not been clearly answered what the company will do with regard to the transition agreement and the accepted list. After that there will be more court action to unfold.

Interestingly, now the excuses will be removed and all the bravado we've been hearing from many will be put to the test.
Don't get the bravado and test. What is going to be very interesting is going to be the west getting a decent pay raise, protections, and then make a case for being harmed. Harm is definitely in the eye of the beholder, and a jury is not going to buy them being harmed when DOH is a method of integration in Allegheny Mohawk, and right in the American Arbitration books as being a fair method. Have at it west. I predict more disappointment, and money wasted.
 
And that buys you what?

It buys the company time to allow junior A&W dudes to "ripen" and gain experience. I mean, can you imagine a person capable of sending poop through the mail being a captain? Anywhere?

It allows the company to avoid a serial shutdown, something that would happen were the Nicholau to be implemented. The east does have a few weak sisters, but, the vast majority would (rightfully) stop the operation on Nicolau implementation.

When you get older, you will find that USAPA can be your salvation vs ALPA which was determined to kill USAirways. After all, their attorney, on instructions from the "Intl" office, deliberately withheld the MDA pilots from the mainline list submitted to Nicholau in order to save themselves a $50 million lawsuit. To counter that, I believe the east pilots should insist on nothing less than DOH. Nothing less.

With the implementation of LOA 93, the leverage will remain with the east. Frankly, I believe that should an east pilot wish to fly out of PHX, they should conform to the Nicholau list just like, should a west pilot wish to fly out of an east base, they should comply with DOH. That would be the only concession I would make, oh, aside from making the 190 group two pay rates.

Nothing less. If Tempe cannot compete on an equal basis with the other airlines then, perhaps, Tempe should cease operations, acknowledging their (obvious to me) incompetence.

I saw nothing like what you are claiming in any of the 9th rulings. Sounds like personal requests coming from a disgruntled and worried west pilot. The end is coming for any and all things associated with the Nic and its' ilk. It is over. The next big win is either MDA or the LOA 93 pay. I say the LOA 93 win is coming soon. Love the way the company tried to get around the freeze language. Get the champagne chilled for that one.

Amazing how a group of people in what some may term a guild or craft would seek to undermine that same entity for personal gain. Always seeking to take advantage of another craft member, who was hired years earlier and in the same profession. And that craft member has no input within the company where they practice their trade. The west is absolutely guilty of seeking to undermine the profession of airline pilot. It is appalling what went on here, and thankfully, has been stopped cold. God save the 9th!

Your aspirations with the Nic have been systematically destroyed by every professional entity that has come into contact with it. Your Nicolau had no validity, and was unattainable. Your group was the last to figure it out. Everyone else figured it from day one. "All the risk lies with the West....." No truer words have been spoken, and spoken very early on.

Somebody got wrecked today! The term frozen is going to be the key language. If Donn B letters are correct......it is game over. I want my money! Check Please. Jan. 1, 2011 lump sum $10,300...........2010 is turning out to be a very good year. USAPA has been the best money I ever spent.

What are you talking about with excuses? I say excuse us for destroying the west plan for world domination. Your group certainly would not have put up with it, nor Delta, nor any other. ALPA totally blew it. They knew they had to do the DAL NWA merge better than this abortion or they would lose another couple of carriers. Yet you expect us to accept this total windfall. This was way out of what even ALPA expected, yet they did not have the guts to correct it. Well, we did it for them. The Nic? Guess what? We destroyed their little plan. It is over. As far as the list and the company? If you don't get it now that there is ONE pilot group they are dealing with, represented by USAPA, then you are going to be educated very shortly, along with your west partisans. You obviously don't understand what happened here in the past few weeks. When is the damages trial I ask?
