US Pilots Labor Discussion 4/6- STAY ON TOPIC AND OBSERVE THE RULES

Your post reminds me of an abused wife who comes out to defend her husband who then goes home and then ends up in the hospital after he beats her again. Or maybe it's like Hillary Clinton who says "I'm not some Loretta Lynn stand by your man woman" as she publicly proclaims her philandering husband to be completely faithful. In both cases everyone but the willing victim seems to know the truth about the unscrupulous and abhorrent actions of their partner of choice.
RR was an awesome REED. Calloway, where did you get the wife beating and abuse out of this? The same place the special kids and flying eggo came from?

Simple really. USAPA takes money from pilots by force (threats and abuse of power) and uses it to pursue its own profligate, narcissistic, and foolhardy quests and offers nothing in return for its extortionist ways. Seham is milking millions from the pilots and their families via dues and assessments for no other reason than USAPA’s leadership is too foolish to put an end to the pathological madness.

This is an absolute shame and no one should be pleased to see the money they earned in the cockpit used in such a wasteful and irresponsible manner. A mentally well-adjusted individual would take no pleasure in seeing an attorney with a dearth of moral character such as Seham pocketing millions that really belongs to them. Even more to the extreme is a poster who shows pleasure that Seham is making more off this futile dispute than most pilots would make in ten years of flying planes. To me that reeks of a stereotypical co-dependent who not only cannot break free from the cycle of abuse, but also exalts the character of the addict engaged in abusive and brutal conduct. An abused wife as I described and Hillary Clinton both make excellent examples of this kind of twisted psychological behavior.

Are you saying that Seham is PIMPING USAPA and the pilot of US Airways, EAST and WEST?

Do you think he's floating his 'boy' Cleary some cash under the table as a "Thank You"?

The Addington vs USAPA DFR suit was started by a few named West pilots, funded by all the America West pilots. The USAPA union that represents all USAirways pilots is being sued for damages. Each individual East pilot is also being sued by the America West pilots as tortfeasers.

The East pilots have no choice but defend themselves from the suit brought about by the West pilots who are seeking monetary damages.

You mean no other choice except to accept responsibility for your actions, pay the penalties and move forward in a lawful manner? You act like USAPA is constrained by some outside source forcing it to violate federal law and to engage in a futile appeal of a federal circuit court's rulings. Admission of wrongdoing and a willingness to accept responsibility would be the quickest and least expensive way to bring all these unnecessary costs to an end. As it stands now, you are lining up to pay the fines, penalties, west legal fees, as well as your already sunk costs of paying Seham to deceive you into thinking this was worth defending in the first place. His fees just keep rolling along as USAPA resists the inevitable instead of accepting reality.

Let's parse this post.

The Addington vs USAPA DFR suit was started by a few named West pilots

True, but they subsequently were made into a class of all similarly situated pilots.

funded by all the America West pilots.

I don't know if they had 100% participation into what was a ** voluntary ** fund.

The USAPA union that represents all USAirways pilots is being sued for damages.

True.

Each individual East pilot is also being sued by the America West pilots as tortfeasers.

The last I knew the average rank-and-file members were only being sued in their capacity as USAPA members, not in their individual capacities. Also, I believe in order for someone to be sued in their personal capacity for their personal assets they individually need to be served a summons and complaint so that they can individually appear before any court in order to defend themselves in that legal action.

Have a few thousand summons been served in the last few days on all the East pilots?

The East pilots have no choice but defend themselves from the suit brought about by the West pilots who are seeking monetary damages.

If they were individually served that would be correct but were they, or is this simply a mischaracterization of what is going on in order to get everyone agitated?

RISK- What the west takes by the minute when they barrel headlong on their absurd mission. A mission enabled by a windfall. A windfall that lets them put a new hire ahead of a pilot with 17 yrs of service, who would retire in a few years anyway. Now, your risk which is like the lottery ticket Kirby told you, that you won. It is costing you. It cost you years of higher pay. Better retirement. It cost you your union that sanctioned it, ALPA. It put hundreds of your pilots on the street. It cost your senior pilots 330 bids. Now it is costing you thousands in legal fees, for a ruling that will quite possibly be overturned. More money now, and time. Either side appealing costs you more years, more money. Now it puts you at a higher risk/ It brought out evil deeds. You absolutely helped your management divide the pilot group by keeping another pilot group within your own airline at a lower rate. The company capitalized on this in every way. As Freund told you at WYE RIVER, the risk is all on the west. Keep trying to steal what you never earned. Karma has a unique way of serving those who are thieves.Try being patient, and stop trying to walk on those who were down when times were tough. Wait your turn. No, you can't wait. Time marches on. LOA 93 grievance waiting, Addington in the 9th. Possible merger, a still divided group. That lottery ticket is going to be like many others. It only brings problems. Should have earned it honestly.Stop blaming Seham. Look in the mirror. He is just keeping you from stealing what you don't deserve.

Lets' hope AA comes in with something better. Then we can keep ALPA away forever.

Like I just said last night:

Events are fast overtaking any relevant happenings in San Francisco.

REED RICHARDS- superhero. The ability to see into the future is a beautiful thing, and you have the power! You heard the boat horn sounding in the distance. The Westies partied at Moes a little too long, and didn't hear it. Now the boat has left the dock..................

June 31st is subtle. USAPA is Subtle like a carbomb. June 39th is more funny because it is as absurd as your fake union. Get it? It's a Joke....kind of.
Metro- your boys waited a little too long to pull off the bank heist. Should have made a quick getaway. The guys in the bank were stuffing cash in every orifice far too long. The cops are out front, As Reed Richards will tell you, CRIME DON'T PAY!

Yeah, AA is going to honor Usapas DOH demand...keep dreamin'. The industry knows who their dealing with when it comes to the East pilots. They arent afraid. They arent impressed.

You've already played your cards....a pair of Jokers doesnt get very far. Ante up, you're gonna need it in the damages phase. Too bad Usapa didnt get you those snapback wages. It would softened the blow. But then again, USAPA hasnt done anything for your group...2 years into it. Impressive.

Hold on a sec, UAL is ALPA and there is an ALPA seniority list for US Airways isn't there? One that was accepted by the management at US Airways? Also, doesn't UAL have more pilots than US Airways, especially those that live east of the Mississippi?

Where is the bad news for pilots west of the Mississippi?
