Ante up, you're gonna need it in the damages phase.

Oh, wow! Did the 9th Circuit rule? I missed that. Can someone send the link? Freebird, how about you? Can you post the link for us on what the 9th had to say that will allow the damages phase to go forward? Thanks!

Too bad Usapa didnt get you those snapback wages.

Oh, wow! That, too? The arbitrator ruled on the LOA 93 grievance and I missed that ruling, too. Can someone post the link to the decision? Freebird, how about you? You seem to have the information NO ONE ELSE ON THE PLANET has.

Yeah, AA is going to honor Usapas DOH demand...keep dreamin'. The industry knows who their dealing with when it comes to the East pilots. They arent afraid. They arent impressed.

You've already played your cards....a pair of Jokers doesnt get very far. Ante up, you're gonna need it in the damages phase. Too bad Usapa didnt get you those snapback wages. It would softened the blow. But then again, USAPA hasnt done anything for your group...2 years into it. Impressive.
You guys waited too long. Nice try though! Just like the guy that led the race, but ran out of gas in the last turn to the flag. Bummer.

Hold on a sec, UAL is ALPA and there is an ALPA seniority list for US Airways isn't there? One that was accepted by the management at US Airways? Also, doesn't UAL have more pilots than US Airways, especially those that live east of the Mississippi?

Where is the bad news for pilots west of the Mississippi?

Do not know, but this quote from the article is interesting.

"For its part, US Airways has hubs in Las Vegas, Phoenix and extensive operations in the Washington area."

No mention of CLT or PHL? Somebody might get left out in the cold with no airplanes, no bases and no change of control.

Won't matter.

West operation will spin off and go to Republic.

Write this down and note the date. You can take this to the bank. This is part of the deal that is going down.

I read that but attributed it too fast reporting and the fast reporting isn't always accurate. Of course if this reporter has been working on the story for a day or two and got non-merger related information from the company than there may be something to your theory. But, for now, I am not reading that into it.

Wonder why Parker was so focused on CHANGE OF CONTROL?? Now you know. And it is going to UAL. Who gives a crap about the WEST. GIVE US THE CASH PARKER, or it is in trouble. Talk about the lottery ticket.

There have also been recurring strategic doubts about how well the two airlines fit together. A combination of the two carriers would end up with a large number of a multitude of hubs, including United’s operations in Chicago, Denver and at Washington Dulles International Airport. For its part, US Airways has hubs in Las Vegas, Phoenix and extensive operations in the Washington area.

It's talking about overlap and would could be cut.

Oh, man. You are really out in the cold now. Do you really still believe an ancient press release about LAS that somebody GOOGLED? Old news. PHX is it out west. And it isn't a moneymaker.

REED RICHARDS- superhero. The ability to see into the future is a beautiful thing, and you have the power! You heard the boat horn sounding in the distance. The Westies partied at Moes a little too long, and didn't hear it. Now the boat has left the dock..................
Well here it is again. - USAPA supporters salivating at a possible UA merger as another method of avoiding the NIC. Sure this may have legs as opposed to some of your other fantasies, but your avoidtheNICitis disease produces a pre-conditioned response of over exuberance every time the winds change direction. In any other scenario you would be bemoaning the idea of merging with a big three carrier, but with the NIC behind every door you open, this suddenly sounds pretty good. If this deal gets consummated then UA, US and judge Wake will make sure the NIC is the source seniority list presented on our side for the combined pilot integration.

One thing is a certainty - if UA & US merge USAPA will become extinct in very short order. With ALPA back in the captain’s seat as it were, the NIC will be used in the seniority integration and that integration will go nearly identical to the DL/NW pilots – that is based on a relative position at the original carrier. Oh, and expect some crew bases to close so no one will like the idea of fences in this deal. The west has nothing to fear here. As for the east, who knows how they will respond when they find out that the NIC is still the list going forward. This might just push the 9th and Wake to accelerate their timelines so as to not impede the progress of the two companies.

And this is where you guys run into trouble. Do you really think they are going to let you do to them what you tried to do to us? It is one thing to look out the window and see a crime, it is another when it takes place on your property. Your Nic dream just went where it should have, the Outhouse. This is going to re-do anything. I want nothing to do with UAL, but you guys don't even more. Good luck. You are going to need it trying to impose a list that was never implemented.

Here it comes, more legal problems for you guys. Another problem for Doug. CHANGE OF CONTROL. Just like the Desert Judge, he was losing sleep over it! This is getting very interesting for the East. I smell massive upside.

Don't bother with facts. USAPians have this uncanny ability to not see the forest through the trees and ignore what is plainly staring them in the face. The rest of the World knows that ALPA is unquestionably bound to honor the Nic. They've submitted the list, and it was accepted. NOW, these USAPA chearleaders...the ones that so gleefully never miss the opportunity to claim that they made ALPA a "smoking hole" and "wrecked" them...are openly wishing, hoping, and praying for a merger with UAL so that....now get this.....ALPA can be their new bargaining agent.

Let's not forget that USAPA is barred by PERMANENT INJUNCTION to negotiate ONLY with the Nic. was any and all entities. DOH is DOA. It has been for a long time.

You can't make this stuff up.
