TOMMORROW WE BEGIN!

AMFA - still has top two contracts in the passenger airline industry. Or go Teamsters. IAM sucks as bad as TWU. Better off with no union than with IAM. Then the CO will have to compete in real time, not Railway Labor Act time.

FI - (This may have been posted already, but ... ) Boston Consulting Group is the largest payee in the BK process.

I have AMFA and AMP cards. I despise the TWU but am not convinced to which union to vote on. I'd love to have more options. I don't believe the IAM, AMFA or AMP would be like the old unions of the past. Back then they literally took ball bats to knee caps to fraudulent greedy corporations. You show me a union that doesn't put up with corporate BS fraud and I'll be the first one in line to sign. Would the IAM, AMFA or AMP be outside the gates marching right now if they were in office here? I don't want to have to vote the lessor of two evil unions in. We either have a union that's for the people or we don't. The given choices haven't proved that to me unity. I'll stress again... I despise the TWU but I'd rather be w/o a union then given the multiple choices we have. Nuff said

I would lean towards AMFA and AMP...
Why return to the the traditional unions that once served us well but now are just dues collection agencies?

Why not get AMP off the ground where WE all as charter members write the constitution. Where WE the members vote on ALL the leadership! Where WE the members determine their salaries!

This is a golden opportunity.

And before anyone responds with the "We need the lobbying power of an established union," to those I say this..........

LOOK AT HOW MUCH THE MIGHT TWU HAS SAVED US WITH ALL THEIR LOBBYING POWER! LOOK AT WHERE WE ARE TODAY WITH A TRADITIONAL UNION!
Didn't Little shake Obama's hand? Where did all the TWU influence go?

The TWU has helped us to the bottom...So now it is easier for us to begin from the bottom!

My biggest beef with TWU is they are ALL IN for Obama all the while he is destroying the energy markets single handedly and had a huge hand in keeping oil prices maxed out.
This severely hurt all of us at AA, and the TWU response to his failed energy policy? After the crickets stopped chirping, they announced unanimous support for his second term so he can finish the job of destroying our country.

Didnt oil go to $145/bbl under Bush? I pay less for Natural gas now than I did back then as well.

Most agree that the run up in oil prices was due to speculation and not demand, this is the result of an unregulated financial system.

News flash for you Bob, Bush is no longer pres. Again, no response to the sky high price of oil under Obama, when you can get airplanes that fly on natural gas let me know.

Bob, our financial system has never been more regulated than it is now under Obama, so much for that thesis.

How bout we drill in Alaska and offshore and build the pipeline, all of these are being blocked by Obama. And that natural gas you love at such a low price is largely due to all the drilling certificates awarded during Bush's term. Obama wants to shut down all the cracking that is lowering the natural gas price.

Guess you didnt read the link.

You made the claim that Obama "had a huge hand in keeping oil prices maxed out". Please explain, its around $40/bbl less than it was 4 years ago when Bush was President.

You also said he destroyed the "energy market single handedly". Please explain that as well, from a consumers perspective I've seen my Natural gas costs, which I use to heat hot water and my home, go down.
