I wish I could believe you, but I have already spoken to several US F/A who are based in the Philly and La Guardia who wants to transfer to Phoenix. There was also a US Air Pilot who non-rev on our flight that told our F/As that some LGA based F/A are determined to push us out of PHX and into LGA. Most of the US F/A I have encountered are very nice and professional, however there are a few who are aggressive.

Wow, that's the most I've heard about LGA based F/As in forever. There are only about 100 people based there.
And of course there are people who want to go to PHX, just as there are HP people who have a hankering for the six east coast bases and the type of flying that comes with them.
And yes, some of them are agressive. Some are friendly. Some have pet dogs, some have halitosis, some talk funny, some have frizzy hair... we are talking about THOUSANDS of people here. All of them are different, they are not all aggressive people salivating over the flying a 737 around the desert.
Also, since 1997, there is no longer any airline called US Air. It's as annoying as "American" West.
Chill out. Seriously. No one can bump anyone from a base. One leaves, one comes in. That's not going to change, nor is the AFA merger policy you all happily worked under for years and was used for every previous US Airways merger. At some point in your career, you'll probably want to try another base anyway, whether for fun or because your seniority works better there. Everyone's horizons have been broadened.
