I JUST WANT TO SEE THE VIDEO, SEE FOR MYSELF THE ARGUMENT OTHER THAN HERE ON THE CHAT BOARD.

AND BTW YES THERE ARE A FEW F/A THAT WOULD LOVE PHX AS A BASE....BUT ALAS NOT ENOUGH TO MAKE UR LIFE-STYLE HELL. SOME WILL COME THERE WHEN OPENING EXIST OTHERS WILL COME EAST IN THE END WITH DOH IT WILL BALANCE OUT.

No one will give up their international and their life they already have - anyhow you will have US East people coming over in a few months anyway to fill your vacancies and then after the fence we will be slotted or sent back to the east and even people MUCH more senior than the ones that come over originally will come in to take the place of the other US f/a's ... Either way you go you can't help the fact that you will be seeing our beautiful east coast faces soon coming to a city near you!!! Don't worry you will love US and after you meet US you will say - why didn't we have these people over sooner.. We are a great group of f/a's on the east side and I know some of you will want the chance to do international and work a wide body but I am not screaming about that.... You of course will have to learn how to ditch a plane, which I hear isn't that easy for someone living so far from the water.... if you catch what I am saying. Anyhow we are cool kats and you will see for yourself and we will have nothing to argue with after next week and it will be done... Thank God ... but we all think Patty poot u Natty knows who pays her pay check... So lets sit back and enjoy life.. Have fun and relax...

I feel like I've been flying for 40 years?!? Who put THAT comment in there... lol Me too after a red eye or cross-the-pond flight, honey, but unfortuntately it doesn't work that way.

Or how about, I'd like to be excited about it but 8000 F/As senior to me... Waah... that's what your ten years get you! My six years will put about 10,000 above me. That's how it works honey! Welcome to a big boy airline!

Oh, and by the way, they may have to redo thier math. Many of the "furloughees" have in fact been actively working in the company's fictional "MidAtlantic". If they win thier lawsuit they will be shown as active as well. Just to throw that in with his snide remark about furloughees not "actively working", as if they are sitting at home watching Montel.

I hardly think that slotting in a 4 year AWA flight attendant behing a 25 year flight attendatnt, and basically giving 21 years seniority is "fair".  What's fair is following the guidelines that have been in palce.  Which is DOH.

We are not asking to slot a 4 year AWA F/A behind a 25 year flight attendant. What we are asking is a fair relative seniority in our base.

We are not DYING to come to PHX, so relax.

I wish I could believe you, but I have already spoken to several US F/A who are based in the Philly and La Guardia who wants to transfer to Phoenix. There was also a US Air Pilot who non-rev on our flight that told our F/As that some LGA based F/A are determined to push us out of PHX and into LGA. Most of the US F/A I have encountered are very nice and professional, however there are a few who are aggressive.

Regardless of how they work out this issue, I see no way that anybody could be "pushed out" of any base by flight attendants.

Yet AGAAAAAAIN I have to ask, "Why did HP not care to try and change this before"? If they change the DOH policy for "YOU-HP" then what shall prevent other policies from being changed again and again and again and again. Companies have raped and stripped us of many things over the years at BOTH carriers. Now we have to worry about a group of f/a's at "ONE" carrier who is ALL OF THE SUDDEN not happy with the DOH policy. For the 10th time I have to ask, "If this merger were between HP and lets say AirTran would this be an issue today"? Highly unlikely. Whatever formula you try and prove fair it will change seniority accrued over at US-east. As the one f/a in the video expressed how many loyal f/a's the old HP has well rest assured we are VERY loyal about ours too. This CAN be a good integration but trying to change this NOW is not fair to all those who have been through mergers under the AFA umbrella. I hate to say this but the prior HP f/a's are not special and do NOT deserve special changes. We are all doing the same job under the same union. Also, what the hell did that guy mean about all of the usairways mainline furloughed f/a's "Not Actively Working".... Does MidAtlantic ring a bell. What a waste of postage. Change the bilaws and see what kind of integration you get. The other woman with 10 years said that she will have over 8,000 f/a's above her... HOW???? We ALL chose AFA and will keep the DOH for this merger and any other possible merger. How is this merger any more "Special" than any other merger. TOTAL JOKE ! ! ! ! !

After watching the video twice I have say you could not have done a better job of creating a video that will raise the hackles in the east. I've only been at US for 8 years and felt my blood pressure rise after watching it. This is not a good way to start a new and better airline. As far as I'm concerned put a 20 year fence up and leave it at that. It doesn't matter to me or even most of us.

OMG you are so true... My roommate works for UNITED and we just watched the video he was laughing through the whole thing... He has 6 years there and he said please biaattcchhh I feel like i have 40 years to BUT I DON'T ... totally a rehearsed video, i loved watch their eyes go back and forth reading while talking... It looks like one of those pleas for help from South Africa - I have a family and I have been here for ten years!! LOL!! Guess what I have a family and I have been here for 15 years and I am displaced all the time can't hold a line etc... Go cry to someone else honey!!! Someone that will actually CARE!!!
