Gee I don't know. Hmm. Why all the hostility.

1. we spend years and millions of dollars of dues money to get to binding arbitration.

2. we've been in section six for over 2 years and all of our energy has been spend fighting the east.

3. I wake up to find that I have no insurance, no benefits, no representation, no union, committees, no ASAP, nothing....NOTHING.

How many rhetorical questions do you need before you get it that this isn't a viable union?


4. Answer to all questions posed on point 3? It doesn't exist. a SCAB tantrum doesn't create, or run an actual Union. Just like Bubba who blasted a hole in the airplane, you guys will be doing just the same to what is left of your careers.

Well I guess you got me. I am sorry it is too difficult for you to use the exact same ASAP form you have been using, or go to a web site. That last part was in jest as you swear you would never use USAPA benefits anyway. At least be honest and claim you don't want those things, it is not truthful to claim you cant get them.

You're right...why would I expect the "day one" scab union to actually be able to communicate with it's members...I mean really, they're sophisticated right? They haven't lifted a solitary finger to rep. the west. WE have no union. that was taken by a bunch of cowardly losers who, in all the years of being S*** on, could only muster the energy to put on a yellow lanyard and keep chanting "DOH, DOH, DOH" even though they've been denied at every turn.

Like it or not, the West is in a complete (usapa) vacuum, there are no reps, there were never intended to be any reps, there is no plan, and there is no communications. Why? 1800 of us will never pay a dime to your scab outfit. That's why SCAB Bradford has now stated that membership is voluntary. He says "voluntary" because he knows that he has no chance of ever recovering a dime from AWA. It's the SCAB way of saving face....All of our money is going to AWAPPA and our legal team.


USAPA is on the pyre and the West, (UAL?) is holding the matches.

Pathetic. Where have you been? In another post you said there was nothing available to you. It has all been replaced including insurance. I personally saved around $400 replacing my wonderful non replaceable ALPA benefits. The committee structure is there if you would take the time to find it at the USAPA website. BTW It's a seamless transfer for insurance until June 3rd.

As for Nic? maybe and then again maybe not. We'll let this play out.

The pyre? That remains to be seen doesn't it? There is no deal yet. Too bad for you it doesn't bother me.

Like I said, I personally don't care whether you join USAPA or not. Life would be less complicated if you remain on the sidelines. But our goals have never changed from day one. You're just now seeing that? Sorry I haven't held hands with a child since my son grew up. This is going to be fun watching you post this "stuff"

If the USAPA ASAP sideletter is anything like the East ALPA ASAP sideletter I will pass on the ASAP and just go the NASA route.

The west had better protections in our ASAP program. The company could not even access identity information on ASAP or FOQA reports without ALPA's say so.

Does the USAPA sideletter incorporate these safegaurds? Didn't think so.

I have no doubt you don't care if I join your scab union or not...However, multiply that by 1800, throw in a couple of million bucks, toss in US Airs largest base, include a team of labor lawyers, and, (let's not forget) the ever present LEGAL Nic. award...you might start to care. If only you'd have cared so much when your OWN ELECTED MEC was playing roulette with your career....but then again, they were telling you what you wanted to hear...just like your parasite lawyer seham is telling you now. Damn, I always that that with age, came wisdom...

A yellow lanyard doesn't make a union and Integrity will always be stronger than a temper tantrum.

Wow. You don't want much do you? What are you expecting from USAPA communications? We didn't get a mailing list from the company until late last week. as for e-mails, it takes your taking the time to send it to us to get you on a mailing list. No e-mail address, no e-mail. Not to hard to understand is it?

As for west reps. have you signed up to participate? By your posts I would say no. But in the middle of June, if there are any members out west they will have a rep(s) dependent on total membership. The intent is there, we can't make you join. Why don't you interview for a rep position? Oh thats right you won't join or pay dues. Great idea. It does make things less complicated.

Actually there is a plan to represent all the member pilots at USAirways. Believe it or not.

You really have been living in a vacuum. We cared, believe it or not. But trying to recall those reps recently proved fruitless, thanks to ALPA. So we just recalled the whole union. Not bad for a bunch of old guys, huh?

Your right, a lanyard doesn't make the person. My principles have remain unchanged before, during and after the election. ALPA needed to go. Guess what? It has.

You don't need to bet me. I would still offer to buy if we have a common layover, no matter what happens. But that's me.
