I was once a young pup myself, but I never sacrificed my integrity and/or beliefs. When you speak of the ‘ME’ generation, you had better take a look in the mirror and realize how selfish you are. The ‘ONLY’!!! reason that you make the salary that you earn today is by the sacrifices that our Union Brothers/Sisters have made for us in their undying pursuit to make a living wage for their children. Even when I walked the picket line for my IAM EAL Brothers/Sisters in 89, I knew that they were sacrificing themselves for ‘US’!!!

From that time forward, I was a die hard IAM Unionist until the UAL ESOP ’Union Lead/International perpetuated’ scam.

From therein, I vowed to never again be a ‘SUCKER’!!!

For your edification, the majority of AMFA supporters were from IND.
Also, for your edification, the majority were ‘Junior’ employees (less than 10 years).
But they had the tenacity to appreciate that they had to make a sacrifice for their children and future generations.

Allowing UAL to go into bankruptcy so even more people lose their jobs, so the retiree pension may be affected. At NWA where 4500 of your union brothers and sisters have lost their jobs.

I was there in Tulsa when Cunningham applied to management . We busted his balls for it and he did get turned down. Eventually he saw that it was not worth going to the dAArk side. I first mentioned AMFA to Dan in 1990 and was promply slammed by Dan for he felt we could change from within. I thought to myself, "he'll learn". Dan will back me up on this and to this day he will you that I was the first man to mention AMFA to him.

I was at AFW when he was co-chairman, I was a shop-steward. I was at AFW when Dave Stewart was a die hard TWU lackey (sorry Dave!) much like yourself. There where two factions at AFW at the time. The Cunningham tough guy lets enforce the contract side and the Dave Stewart lets be nice to management so they'll like us side (again, sorry Dave!). Dan won the election but his kick ass philosophy goes against the TWU COMPANY UNION philosophy. Bull #### charges were trumped up and the International removed Dan from office.

Dave Stewart eventually changed his mind and attitude and became an AMFA supporter. SO THERE'S HOPE FOR YOU STEVE!

He made reference to what he felt strongly about in the past and what he feels strongly about now. His convictions. . .what he feels strongly about, his views on things. The problem with the twu today is many (notice I said many, not ALL) of the people with any integrity have stepped down and removed themselves from the twu. Can you see what type of people you have left? I guess not.
