First of all , I think I have enough seniority to ride out the storm .If I don’t then at least I know I got a fair shake ( as long as furloughs go by date of hire ) … what more can I ask other than fairness?

Sadly O man , it will be YOUR little brothers and sisters who will pay the price if you vote this down … in my hub I’ll outlast any cutting , but it’s the new people in YOUR hub who will be thrown out the door FOREVER with the 60 day rule …

So remember to look around the break room next time and ask yourself , do I want to sacrifice my friends and co workers on the alter of the 60 day rule because I was too greedy and wanted to gamble it all ….

Has anyone else noticed that Parker found a way to not negotiate with his unions in Section 6? Do y'all realise that there are three contracts (I include AC MX in this) that he has not negotiated in SEction 6 even though they've been ammendable for almostot OVER 3 years? Take a little now. When it comes time for Section 6 (be it 2009 or 2011) will we merge AGAIN?!?! I think it's in everyones interest to have full Section 6 nogotiations ASAP.

No extensions in TAs. They are the death of all of us.

hmm ok time for a fact check , i remeber someone telling me two other unions here at US AIRWAYS tried for section six and were shut down ... can anyone verify that ?

(p.s , by the time we get done merging with united , the only one's left to merge with by that time will be the air force lol )

You talk about PHL and CLT standing up …. I think you’ve been hanging out with the topped out guys for too long tim …This election is going to be close , we need EVERY yes voter to come out …. From how I’m figuring it , CLT and PHL will average out to half yes half no …. the class 2 field stations will go all in for this …. The west stations will probably average out to a yes vote , which way LAS goes , who can say …. If PHX can come out in enough numbers , we should be able to win it .

pick and choose when to put the truth out there and if you believe this to be true your out of
touch with the reality of this vote. I'll agree PHX is a yes........Las is a ??? especially now with
todays article.........the 18 stations are more NO then before in Sept. and finally PHL and CLT
are pissed.........thier gonna be coming out in droves to send a message. Your sources ,if any,
are making you look foolish and we know ''rockstars'' don't like to be made a fool of............
Wake Up, we could use your assistance instead of constantly battling your posts. I know you
stand behing RR, well stand next to him and make your choice not his......believe me you won't
be ''partying'' this time either. Ask yourself why Canale is selling you out, perhaps his ''board seat''
at UA and the fact he had prior knowledge of this merge has something, anything to do with it.

Sad thing is RC is selling out PHX big time and your the only station behind him. You get to vote
on site and RC won't allow anyone else, why ? Last time he begged to have PHL vote at the
station and was denied by the local lodge. Remember he was told by JH that PHL was a yes.
If the local lodge allowed this it would have allowed at least 300-400 more NO votes..........
everyone should be voting at thier meeting place or lodge, no exceptions.

This is it, as far as trying to get at least my point across. Go ahead and vote yes again and once
again stand alone and not with the majority of your brothers and sisters.

Just so that you know, because of rc and the iam, furloughs go by classification date. Just like everything else that has to do with ramp seniority. That is why getting DOH is of utmost importance.

West uses adjusted. The catch is that most fo the adjustments were either never made, or no one notices. It's basically DOH. Most of the ones with adjusted dates were temps that stayed.

Freedom: The west pilots tried it, only right at the time they filed there was this
vote to change unions. Had the west MEC won they'd be cruisin. The West FA's
tried it and I don't know why It didn't go thru. But one thing is for certain,
and that is If you have a contract that is amendable the company has a
legal responsiblity under the RLA to negotiate.

I would be interested in the details of the West FA's deal if anybody knows.
