? how much to rent a spot on camelback mtn. and put an RV there.

I'm thinking that would be what PERV would be looking at . and also . by any chance are there any true PHL cheese steak places

out there . I've know perv and he's a pretty big boy.......



High dollar on camelback mtn. There is all kinds of good food in the valley. Everybody has moved here.
Philly cheese steak is overrated in PHL. I went to Pat or Gino's and wasn't impressed.

Back to the topic at hand. I agree with ya Oman, It's divide and conquer. Class II vs. Class I. I have no illusions that this was done waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay before April. After 2 years of record profits, and no talks, suddenly the "gloom and doom" of the economy, and oil prices, presto, we would like to work out a T/A now please. Come on guys this was a set up from the start.

Regarding insurance changes, I have a thought. How many West part timers will have a higher insurace cost then their entire check?

Also, I'm pretty sure there is no East fleet in PHX. I think it's all done under contract by West fleet. This came up like 90 pages ago, but it was an active day here :lol:

Also, this T/A offers job protections for those 18 field stations for the next 3 years. If/when we merge with United, how long do you think those cities will be protected?

From a West perspective, those 18 field stations that are "protected" for three years is a sacrafice. They're protected NOW. The Company can NOT outsource the West work now! EVER! Why give that up for 3 years of "protection"?

There is so much misleading info on these boards it's enough to make one CRAZY! :wacko:

i think that all this merger talk has gotten a little carried away and this TA is crazy i got less than 2 years withthe company and this TA seems like it doesnt really help anyone out i know the west will benifit some but the east will not i say lets just see how the vote goes and let the merger mania rest for now and focus on our jobs

If the coc isn't worth anything, why do they want it? If profit sharing isn't worth any thing, why do they want it?
Why do they want a 2 year extension? why not 3 or 4 years....................
I love it when an agc says" it's just cleaning up contract language", well why not throw out the
60 day rule, we don't use it ! I firmly don't believe the coc or profit sharing is going to stop a
merger or break this company. If al wanted this to pass, he would have thrown in vac or
a buck more an hour plus more holidays.
Remember the snap backs are gone with the new t/a and no increase in the pension.

Oh and for all you oil freeks, we hedge.
Don't forget, district office elections are coming up soon, vote out the agcs on the us side
for piss poor representation, they don't deserve the 100,000 plus a year for for the job

Isn't the whole purpose of this thread to address "merger mania" and other topics that directly impact us?If you are management please desist from further posts. If not then please increase your lithium dosage so as to inhibit keyboard usage. Please "focus" on running your posts through spell check. The ramps reputation is bad enough already. (flame off)
 
another exaggeration......AGAIN I PAY $99/month for family coverage.
Think you need to rethink and due your math over. Do you get paid monthly or biweekly? Or maybe IAM fleet service USAirways has much better family medical coverage then CWA passenger service.

You say EVER?????? Hello, wake up and and have a little java dude! Learn that you work for USAirways....I've been around for 30 years....worked in a total of 5 stns....3 are now outsourced....get a clue.

I would take the 3 years of protection now cuz when we merge how much protection are you going to get?
