We went to the smoking quarters on the outside of Phoenix so Chandlee could have a "smoke".

That is when he surmised that only after the COC and both sides would agree would there be a monitary settlement. Thats' when I stated he better bring Protection. Cause it's been too long!

We all know the suspense, and anticipation we went through awaiting the arbitrator’s… (Mr. Richard I. Bloch’s) decision regarding “that†language.

The existing and soon to be removed COC is weak…antiquated…and ambiguous…

Any negotiator worth his or her salt…could draft language to encompass both M&R… and Fleet Service through all possible modern airline business model M&A scenarios. (Period)

Expect it! Vote No…if it ain’t there!

Roabilly! I really hate your language! But! you're right! COC was outdated. And both companies waited for the fowled results. Can we rely on the Federal Government? No! More!

No contract will include anything the Feds will help us with. All separate States and all companies have to look after themselves. Just listen to NBR radio to see how shawdi! the Feds have gotten according to work groups. Unions will have to wait to see if the new administration recognises us. Just look at the FAA and see how sorry they are today.

Better go check with the SEC and the laws of the land, the CEO's has a fiduciary responsiblity to the shareholders by law, not the employees.

Get off the Kool-aid. I don't care who he has a "fiduciary" responsibility too.(He has failed there also) You never had to work under his inept management. He has a moral responsibility to the employees and passengers.

Update on the Intl' Dept. in Phl :

US have asked BA and Luft. to move thier summer outbound baggage operation over
to the US bagroom on A-West and allow us to use thier bagroom for our inbound Int'l
connecting baggage. They have agreed and US will pay handsomely to make this happen.
I guess not knowing our Int'l operation was going to increse (rhetorical) suprised us. Now
BA and Luft. will have to deal with working along side US fleet in a 5 carousel bagroom.
We will have over 20 Int'l fights plus Domestics entering a 4 carousel operaration all departing
within a 5 hour period. BA and Luft. will have 1 carousel for 3 outbounds. US currently has 3 or 4
Int'l departing on these 4 carousels and will now add 2 or more to each carousel. 10lbs. of you know
what in a 5lb. bag. Here comes the summer..........wooh hooh !

Its called the cost of fuel and doing bussiness.
If you havent paid attention all airline stocks are way down becasue of this major cost.
Yes part of our problems are operational but its mostly fuel.
A stong balance sheet wont help even our stock when fuel kills us everyday.

The Company knows what it's doing. The stock price was at about 9 bucks when Hemenway inked the Mechanic deal for snap backs, no layoff protections, better retirement contritbutions, and around 30% increased compensation package over 5 years. Ironically, that same day, oil traded at an all-time high during the intraday trading at $112.75.

Fuzz, it's the company's job to fix problems so let them worry about it. In the meantime, if hemenway can sign that kinda deal for mechanics then it naturally follows that he can accomadate the fleet service interest also.

Blast from the Past.......IBEW...the gentleman that was seeking to represent us as our
head is now running and a strong possibilty going to win a Senate seat. ''Doc'' from local
#98 is running for the seat vacated by Fumo and is the overwhelmingly popular choice.
We seem to always question who we sit with but we don't get up and leave the table.


Now with that being said Canale must be removed and we need to put different people in
place. I'm not suggesting that these people can make a difference but if were not going to
leave the table at least lets' change seats............
