Wouldn't be much of a celebration without him.

Rumor has it Oman sings in spanish on the Quervo

and in the interest of staying on topic does anybody really think anything worth while will come from the april meetings?

Jose VS smooth KY bourbon..

I can tell who would wind. Joe be honest .. You really drink PEPE LOPEZ moma won't let you buy the good stuff,

PJ, You want a rise I'll give you a rise (note to mod: not a threat )

cltrat to answer your question NO nothing earth shattering will come in APR other than the BP and outrage of F/S when AL continues to disrepecct

the classification that he came up the ranks from .

Maybe he thinks that all fleet are bad Agents like he was...................................

I know the election is in June. Any idea if a date has been set. I want to mark it on my calendar.

PJ I will gladly share a few shots of my Quervo to help celebrate the victory.
Everyone votes whenever their regular lodge meeting is. The whole month of June will be the voting period. Same way the nominations took place in February. For CLT, I think it's Thursday, June 12.

BTW, I talked to some solid people the last few days and if the negotiating team brings back anything that resembles or even hints at the September rejection, chairs may go flying at the locals. I'm shocked at the intensity of the anger and I realize the masses have reason to be angry.

mike ,
"Maybe he thinks that all fleet are bad Agents like he was...." OUCH

You know the old saying the BIGGEST turds always float to the top

It is far past the time for CEO and UNION (IAM) to suggest their ways of getting US AIRWAYS to survive the down turn of the industry.

If this company is concerned with oil prices they should share this with Mechanics and Fleet. If we can help they might ask!

If we are family then ask for our help. The union seems to be going it alone. I have a feeling that a singular person doesn't have the interests of entire family.

Before the new TA goes wrong for the Fleet (as the Mechanics has already) they (IAM) will, as a united
group, rely on the input of east and west fleet workers.

There is only today, the 25 of March till the 31st of the month to project the Fleet' genuine needs.

Is Mr. Canalee, and Mr. Chandlee and the rest of the NC plus Mr. Hemenway and Mr Parker and the entire shareholder group really concerned about surviving. Or is it the "Individual Singular".

Lith,
"Mr. Hemenway and Mr Parker and the entire shareholder group really concerned about surviving. Or is it the "Individual Singular".

listen these guys ALREADY have there protection and golden parachutes.. Uncle AL has never been loyal to anyone but himself and Crellin .

Doug could care less about what the name of the company or airline or other profession he gets his hands into and mucks up. THEY all have there guarantees NO MATTER

how this turns out. IT's called Corporate GREED.

IF the boys are so worried about Oil and how getting an industry standard contract is going to sink the ship .. I don't see them stepping up to the plate and giving something

back.. Why because they are GREEDY self serving people

Doug's responsility by law is to the shareholders, not the employees.

DL Nomination Update: SAN

Delaney Wins again.

For those of you who haven't kept up, the New Direction team has not lost ANY runoff election in the month of March. Our momentum continues to build onward to the June elections when we will finally get rid of the company infiltrates, otherwise known as Team 2008. June will be an exciting time when we "Come for Canale".....soon enough!

hopefully the iam and the company will do away with that stupid 60 day rule which should have never ever been put in there in the first place Also how much are the union dues a month? i ask that cuz Im planning on transferring to either BWI or DCA this summer after my son gets out of school. and I dont remember what it was prior to june 2005 when our city with 30 other got thrown out under the bus

Boy's 'n Girls....
I posted this reply in M&R...it is applicable to us...please consider....

"The COC language is exact in both the M&R and Fleet CBAs, it only deals with pay, no other issues.

Go read the language and you will see that"

Mr. 700UW....

The existing COC language that was arbitrated in September of 2007 that provided pay "snap backs".... is not at issue here.

The issue is… all IAM represented work groups should have adequate Merger and Acquisition Language in any negotiated, and ratified CBA.

Simply put, M&A language is a bellwether for all reputable collective bargaining agreements in the Airline Industry!

M&A language has been around a long time, it is designed to protect represented work groups in the event of a Merger or Acquisition!

We are…going to be involved in one, or the other…again…soon!

Forget the weak and ambiguous snap back COC language… just protect what we may negotiate in the future with decent language that we deserve in the upcoming consolidation process!

CLT G/C...New Direction...Yahh listin' ?

Cornhole'e... I know yew ain't listin' !

When IAM came to visit Phoenix in 2005 Mr. Chanlee (Bill) the really nice fella, easy to trust) gave us the LOW DOWN. He said the COC would result in discussions between IAM and Company that would allow a contract between BOTH airlines. AND, he reiterated that ONLY when the two parties agree will anything be resolved. And I will again state, after his statement we proclaimed that he better bring protection with him if there was nothing for the west till then. He was forthright and we are seeing the length of time till both parties are rewarded. 2009! Who will still be here?

Get a life dude.....are you on the board???We are this company...we have given to make it what it is!! Get off this thread and serve up another order of fries............

We went to the smoking quarters on the outside of Phoenix so Chandlee could have a "smoke".

That is when he surmised that only after the COC and both sides would agree would there be a monitary settlement. Thats' when I stated he better bring Protection. Cause it's been too long!
\
Screw! Both sides!
