Many got good jobs, many didn't, many are accepting recall to AA, many won't. I ended up at America West. Anything else you're wondering about?I can't help but wonder if this turned out well for them.

Wait a minute.
"Started the work" to file the Form 1? As in, it is not yet filed as of today, 9/30/07?
I am pretty sure last week you posted the Form 1 was ACTUALLY FILED.
Can you clarify? Which is it?
So far, so good. Since the ex-TWAers enjoy super-seniority in STL the nAAtives there will eventually bid out, excepting the few whose reside there. There's a vocal movement that thinks we still got too good of a deal and wants the fences abolished. Since the integration wasn't negotiated or arbitrated we are vulnerable to their whims. Any more questions?Yea, how did the fence around STL work out?
Yes, I thought the same thing. (SOMEthing prompted me to post the link in that thread to the NMB website about weekly filings to verify whether USAPA actually filed!) But, if he really didn't say that, my apology to him still stands.I thought the same thing, and actually told several people that I had read comments to that effect from "USA320Pilot." Now he denies having said it. I looked and can't find a post where he says anyting of the sort.
He might have gone back and amended his post to erase any trace of the misinformation.
That thought crossed my mind too -- maybe he ALMOST said it, but not quite, and the poor wording of the post left everyone confused. He does that often, whether by design or as a result of sloppy writing (I am still not sure which). The other possibility is that his poor language skills left readers confused as to his true intent.
Get used to the second scenario. We've been scratching our heads for years trying to decypher his nonsensical posts.

Or a East disinformation campaign hiding behind an internet address and a one-time poster here.....
Just to be accurate, 2/3 of the TWA pilots were stapled and a protective fence erected around STL.
..
An inquiry was made, and ALPA International has determined that our Strike Prep events for parity, outside of JNC talks, flies in the face of an EC resolution. The result being ALPA International will not post press releases, will not send any ALPA staff for video and there will be no distribution of information on our fight for equal pay to brother and sister union pilots.
...
What actually screwed the TWA pilots was not understanding that Wilder didn't work for us, he worked for Duane Woerth.Wilder works for whomever pays his bills. He's no different than most lawyers. No doubt he also knows his lawsuit is meritless. Once again, your anger is misdirected.
Thanks for noticing, genius. I pointed this out in June:

The Section 1113 bankruptcy proceedings were unprecedented and our MEC under duress -- it seemed like the right thing to do at the time especially since our ALPA-supplied attorney adviced us to do it.
BTW I've just finished my first year at AWA so I'm a very interested party in how this all goes down.
Nostradamus says
Congratulations on finishing your three years with AWA. No one can possibly confuse your wisdom, with greed now, could they?
