US Pilots Labor Discussion

No PHX dilema. Min block hours. usapa has to mantain at least our current flying no matter what the PHX market does. Is it that difficult for you to understand that?

Your statement proves what you brought to the airline, nothing. Did you ever sit down and try to understand why no other reputable airline would hire you?

Oh the nic came through and you bragged to your family and loved ones what a deal you got. It did not happen and now you west pilots look like idiots. You should be used to that in your career, because you were, you are and always will be an idiot.

You have got to be kidding me. I actually went home and told my family that Doug Parker was fixing to tie our nice little boat to the stinkin' Titanic. I thought to myself that no matter what kind of reputation the east pilots HAD, surely this merger wouldn't eclipse the NWAL/Republic DEBACLE. WOW, was I EVER WRONG.

Nos, you are making it very difficult to be civilized with your little man / big airline attitude. You will be force fed the Niclolau Award eventually. Why don't you give yourself a time out, and grow up.

USAPA = We live in the land of Milk and Honey (We are going to milk the seniority away from the AWA pilots because we are ENTITLED & Honey won't that be grand!)!!

I've got another idea. YOU GO.

I'm surprised by the number of people that go to those things to listen to practically NOTHING. If word was out on LOA 93, do you think he would tell you anything about it...NO.

I can only speak for me, but I've had my last Koolaid from LCC.

I agree, a total waste of precious time. Anything worthwhile is confidential. The rest you can read in the paper or your favorite web site. The town hall is for Parker's credibility with the added benefit of dumbing down the liabilities in the audience. What a sham.... He knows how he is thought of on the East, because he knows we know the difference. We worked under Colodny and Howard. Truly decent men. Right or wrong they were respected. A friend of mine went for a free lunch and left. He was told not to leave. He left anyway said He had an upset stomach, gee I wonder why.

Clear,

I think it is the company that has to maintain the West min block hours per the TA.

That is why they lost the TA-10 grievence and owe the West pilots. Speaking of which, why is it that we won that grievence a long time ago and still have not seen a dime, while usapa drops the training pay grievence,(which coincidentally was discovered almost immediately following the TA-10 loss) and immediate restitution is demanded?

I think the company, or at least someone within the company, is in collusion with the scabs at usapa, and about to get handed a pink slip.

Who was it that made the decision to move block hours from West to east, which resulted in a lopsided furloughing of west pilots?

Maybe someone will ask Parker that tomorrow.

Lets see who gets someone fired first. The scabs at usapa, who are demanding the firing of the safety VP, or the West when we point out who is f'n the company over in the pending litigation.

No, always did but, when your revenues are nil and someone IE DP has to balance revenue you will not be able to sell spoiled goods, ie your liesure market, how much EAST flying are you covereing? There is a point of finacial diminishing returns! No misunderstanding that! YOUR HUB IS A FLUB!
It PHX is a flub I guess it is a good thing that we have min block hours. So keep dragging that contract out boys.

If as you say PHX is going to shrink we will keep getting more and more flying from the east. Not a problem I get paid 100% to sleep in the back of the airplane to CLt or PHL or to fly it.

Diminishing return or not usapa still has to protect the T/A and our block hours. That is what usapa signed up for by being the CBA. So if any growth gets handed to the west usapa is the one that has to make sure that happens.

It is amazing. You were hired in 2005. You just got back from furlough, now you dare lecture. You are a true immature idiot.

I have a novel idea all you "Agents of Leonidas". How about letting Doug talk to himself tomorrow. I mean, is he REALLY going to address your problems or offer you anything of value? Does he REALLY care what you think? Do you think he is concerned with anything other than his compensation?

IMO, NO, NO and NO.

But you guys will probably pack the room. Hey! Maybe he'll let one of you shine his shoes!!!

Driver B)

That idea is not very novel. It is debated every time one of these meetings takes place. The room will likely be pretty full. Two respected West plots have asked for a show of support, and will get it. I would not be surprised to see standing room only.

The guy shining his shoes is tying the laces together.

So says the village idiot. Lecturing people for wanting what they had at the merger with his "unbiased" biased "facts" while slobbering over the prospect of climbing over those same people in his quest for rapid access to the left seat. So sad, too bad, glad I'm not him...bitter, bitter little man
