So you are sort of agreeing with some west pilots being called scabs, so that you can label the entire east group as scabs. I am not sure, but if you used to think the west pilots didn't really deserve to be called scabs, but you are now willing to throw them under the bus to satisfy your own agenda, what does that say about you?

And speaking of AA, looks like the merger time table just got pushed up with the creditors forcing AA management to consider a merger.

AA is covering their fudiciary butts, AIG's 25% is a "HUGE PLAYER" in the deal, they will not so easily deal with DUI and SCOTCH especially after the 90's court battle and bad blood! Looks like the "REAL MONEY" is getting ready to show up! MM! BTW MOVE continue your WDREAM!

It is a similar reaction that termites have when they see the pest control truck at the door, they fully realize the implications of no joint contract going into a merger, and the prospect of one absolutely zero. Did judge Silver rule and I missed it?

Something to think about. If judge Silver rules in favor of the west. This merger goes through and we become APA. Who is going to file the appeal? Who is going to pay for it?

The APA is not going to waste the time or money on an appeal. Read the term sheet the east does not get the new contract until the new seniority list is IMPLEMENTED. So if a bunch of east pilots want to collect up some money and pay for the appeal themselves. Fine. But you will not get the new pay rates until that is ruled on. Then you can go into the seniority integration with AA. So maybe 2-3 years from now the new contract will be effective.

Parker has the east in a box. He learned not to give the east ANY decision making authority. they just screw it up.

I guess my question is...and I thought perhaps you would know....is usapa going to change their C&BLs prior to any Appeals Board election...or are they just going to do a do-over with the same rules and have those results challenged.

Here is what I am thinking. If they just re-run the election, we send some scabs to prison for election fraud. If they change their C&BLs, we get Mitch, AC and Patrick awarded punative monetary damages.

I really don't know but I had heard they were changing the C&Bls. Either way what they are doing is illegal and should be punished.

Do you really think "Dougie" thinks he made a "mistake" by operating USAirways as two pilot groups with two different contracts for the last seven years? Saving what, a few hundred million a year, I think that amounts to something over a BILLION dollars in pilot cost savings!

He will be "pleased as punch" to keep that savings and more going forward with a 3-3-3-1 operation. You can take that to the bank, "Team Tempe" sure as hell will.

As long as he can keep the AMR pilots happy, he will just let us "twist in the wind", as we continue to argue about seniority.
