Did you mean gibberish?

Or did you mean to imply that a change of sail was occuring from one side to the other of the floundering uss usapa?
USAPA is doing well.

Best money I've EVER spent!

By the way, no, I meant jibberish. It's a game played by children. Look it up.

Last time I checked the company gives the raises not a union, and if US wants to pay you more than book rates they are free to do so, the rates in the CBA are minimums.

700UW,

When you posted "to pay you more" did you mean a collective or an individual "you"? As I understand the rules, it is usually some kind of violation to pay an individual more working under the CBA excepting specified shift differentials, years of service, etc. For example, let us say there was a flight attendant who worked for Pan Am, spoke a dozen different langauges fluently, nominated Employee of the Year several times, had a personnel file full of complimentary letters from passengers, certified paramedic... now could US offer that new hire a higher pay grade than a new hire or even someone with higher seniority?

It would make sense to pay more for better quality new hires based upon experience, training and reputiation, but little of these labyrinth union rules make much sense to me, but I am sure you can explain it to me?

So Ponders Jester.

Nope, if they decided to pay more than scale for all on a particular step its legal.

US did it for fleet several years back.

If they pay say all 5 year capts on a 737 $40 more an hour, show where it violates the CBA?

I hope if you fly with any of the pilots unfortunately enough to be furlougheded, you tell them not to worry about doing anything, since they aren't worth anything anyway.

I never said "they" were worthless. I said a furlough seniority number is. My bank loan example demonstrates that.

By the way, unlike most of the USAPA supporters here, I usually fly under the monthly minimum and am on the list for the 75 hour option.

They want to do something to help the Junior pilot unless it costs them something personally.

Maybe CLEAR, you could fill us in on " ZANZIBAR" oh there is economic data on each HUB , maybe you choose to neglect it, BTW luved the unbiased facts explain, laughed all day about it! MM!
Did the zanzibar file get opened? That would be no. So continuing to bring it up is a waste of time. Did US Air liquidate? No Would you like to continue to talk about it?

If you have the data for each hub please show us. I don't believe the company has published that since about 2007. Unless you have some modern info how about letting the past go?

But if you must talk about it. How much did LGA make or lose? How much did PIT make or lose how much did BOS make or lose?

Maybe you think the company closed ts because they were making too much money. Give it rest. The year is 2010 deal with the here and now.

If the company touches anything but the nic they will be sued for breach of contract. When the case is "unquestionably" ripe, I promise you, the DFR lawsuit will be filed that day. I'd forget about a better contract for the foreseeable future unless you can convince the company to expose themselves to certain litigation. Ratification provides zero legal shelter here. A TRO or Injunction will be applied just like last time when ripeness was determined NOT to be an issue. The difference this time is that there will in fact be a joint contract. No going back. No room to delay. Here's my favorite fact I like to remind folks of.

4 Federal Judges

2 say USAPA has ALREADY violated the law...

2 say USAPA hasn't done it YET.

Of course this fact is cause for celebration somehow for the East.
File away Metro. You guys are targets in the wide open. You will be taken down by Seham handily. Jacobs has totally blown this case. All that money wasted, with college coming on soon. I can't wait to see the perplexed looks on the judge and jury visages when the "harm" is revealed. Be good Americans. Work for your careers. Don't try and take what you have not put time in for.

What's your beef with calling USAPA a "Fake Union"? USAPA is 100% fake. Period. The end. They were created in the back of a van for the SOLE, SOLITARY, SINGULAR, AND ONLY purpose to evade the Nic. award and attempt to staple 80% of America West pilots after learning that they were never going to get what they wanted as a result of their willingness to go to binding arbitration. That's it. That's what you call a legitimate Labor union? I can see attempting to screw 10% of the pilot group....but 40%?! Good Luck. You've won nothing. The 9th didn't green light a single tenant of USAPAs illegal, hind-sight driven constitution. You actually think you're closer to a ratified contract now? I hope you're right. It would be great to see that ridiculous obstacle of a joint contract removed once and for all. No going back after going "all in" on a yes vote is there?

The West is holding a royal flush. Seham is bluffing, yet is hell bent on dragging all of you into a post ratified world. I personally can't wait to see a ratified contract with a DOH integration. The Company will have no where to hide and the true worthlessness of USAPA will become painfully obvious to all pilots involved.

Bluff on.
Your side was DECIMATED by Seham and the fake union. Put your time in like real Americans. Stop trying to use quotas and butt in front of others. Artificial seniority does not fly with honest Americans.

You mean the 10 year guys with less than 4 years of active service?
Boy Metro, cannot wait to hear your plans for this guy. God help a little old lady who trips in the street. Are you entitled to the cash that comes out of her pocket when she falls?

Yes, heard of them.

Heard stories of how they walked out of contract negotiations, elected a fake union, denied those they represent their rights under section 6 of the RLA, caused years of hardships on the pilot group, their members and other employees in the company.

Also heard they got sued. Rumor has it, they will get sued again.

So yes, we have all heard of them. But I fail to see how denying yourself and others a raise will get the east pilot group out of a binding arbitration.
Pretty soon the group you sue all the time is going to come back at you. And win.
