US Pilots Labor Discussion 4/6- STAY ON TOPIC AND OBSERVE THE RULES

Parker never called Cleary to even talk. This is exactly why DAL/NWA worked, and this one will not get East help. NWA DAL worked with the pilots. Parker, no. That is why he will most likely get the big page ad and the letters to Congress. Nobody in any East group will help this guy after what he has done.

Whatsamatta, BS? Worried that your VNIIMTN campaign might not work out? You sound a little stressed.

You actually think the public will give a damn about why Parker should not be able to broker this rumor of a merger? The pilots of this company are just employees like the rest of us. If Parker wants the merger your group will not stop him. Go Ahead and waist more money looking foolish.
As the saying goes, gotta spend money to make money. He can merge what ever he wants. He just has to pay for it.........

Time to take out another FULL PAGE USA Today page listing the reasons Parker should not be allowed to do this. East pilots, call Cleary, and tell him to get the checkbook out for another ad.
Great idea, there may be one or two people out there that don't think USAPA is a bunch of bumbling fools yet. Trying to sabotage the company you work for is generally the best way to resolve any difference that you have with them, I say go for it.

I have not seen such jubilation from the west since April 2007, when the ill fated Nicalou Award was attempted.

I'd rather see it shut down and keep the morale character than give into Parker and company. There is more to life than flying at awa.

Barbell acquisition group. Don't forget.

Doug is the reason you have a job. Keep underestimating him, its great theater.

Lakefield is the reason any of you have a job. Parker had nothing to do with it. Lakefield's mistake was not putting a capable man in charge once he and his money boys put the deal together. Parker couldn't merge two tennis shoes that match if he had to. Delta laughed in his face. And he sure as hell can't run an airline. Best pilot contract costs in the industry and he can't make money. Jeeeeez!! It's truly difficult to underestimate his incompetence.

You west folks are truly naive about this guy. Or simply just blind to what has been going on here.

This isn't about UAL and LCC merging. This is about beating the bushes and getting LCC's stock price higher. LCC will be split apart with parts going to CAL, UAL, Republic, and possibly AMR.

And you think this is about building a great company. This is about personal enrichment for Wall Streeters, Parker and Kirby. Wait till you see the price you have to pay for this. There will be massive layoffs for starters.

Talk about an internal sabotage job. Remember SHARES implementation? They do it all by themselves.

Let's see Parker has run not one but two airlines as CEO over the past nine years (longer than any other current CEO among the Big Six), and seems well-positioned to lead the 2nd largest airline in the world if this transaction goes through as speculated. It would seem that the stockholders, Boards of Directors, and capital investors who have poured billions of dollars into the companies he has run successfully disagree with you. Parker is the man for the job and those who have a say so over these kinds of matters (because they actually own or will own the company) are the only ones who get to hand pick the CEO of their choice.

You were a domestic pilot, you are a domestic pilot and will always be a domestic pilot. "We become domestic pilots". That is an upgrade frankly for you, since your status was a regional pilot coming from America West. Your PHX charts wearing out quickly should provide a clue to your status,

"8 UAL, 3 East 1.5 west and so on to the bottom." I think the bottom would be a better start and the west pilots would be the first names, lets at least try to make this realistic.

Hey, didn't I try to tell you guys this months ago. Using NIC's rational ALL UAL widwbody pilots go to the top....what number is that 2500 or so.....then the U top 517.....so how do you merge this group....wow lets see now how about DOH....how else ya gonna do it. Then you start slotting down from there..........this will be a nightmare. Stay tuned.

Parker has no respect for a blowhard like Cleary. Parker knows that Cleary does not have the support of most of the US pilots, so he justifiably marginalizes such a clown. If Cleary had made unity of the pilot group his priority rather than feeding his need for villifying the west in a misguided attempt to cement his power, USAPA might be a force to be reckoned with. As it is, it is a paper tiger (made up of dollar bills confiscated from the pilots).

If you want to call Cleary, and I recommend you do, call him and demand that he resign immediately. Call for a new election and install someone who has bipartisan support east and west and will move forward with things as they are rather than how he wishes they were.

Better yet, after next Saturday, when USAPA's exclusivity period ends, and someone hands you a representation election card to get rid of USAPA - sign it. Send a message that you want your dues used to support more than a vandetta against your fellow pilots. You demand results from a union of which you can be proud.

.how else ya gonna do it

The same way the last 3 mergers have been decided by arbitrators perhaps? If you think the UA pilots will let you waltz in with DOH and take over most of the widebody and Captain jobs, I think you'll be disappointed.

Wow.

How is it you define success? You make my point perfectly. Take off the blinders my friend. This guy is an utter failure. How can anyone who either works here or has worked here not see that?

Success = Profit in business in case you need a lesson in basics. Now explain to me just what the profit has been for those two airlines over the nine years he's been in charge. Seriously, crunch the numbers. Then take a look at the great airline he has put together. The well oiled, money making machine defined by LCC as opposed to MPC (most profitable carrier).

And I'll take my Cleveland Hi-bore any day over those Callaways. Although they do make some pretty good irons.
