Please.........

I wonder how much the creator would like his creation if it was reported to US Airways that it was posted on a public site. I am sure they would love their name, insignia, and logo emblems to be used in a video with some of the imagery that was also present. How many flight attendants have been fired by their employers for pictures showing slightly provocative poses but overall fairly benign pictures when in company uniform on their blogs, myspace, etc.

A little late to the party. That video was a year ago. You guys really should be worrying about about the future of USAPA and the company. Not some video.

Threats. Right out of the USAPA playbook, and right on cue.

I love predictability.

Sort of like you rationalizing the legitimacy of Goat man.
Boy you east posters like to live in the past. Get over the goat video already. On a scale of 1-10 (with 1 representing something that is mildly inappropriate and 10 representing the most vile, heinous, deplorable and despicable conduct) I would rate the video as a 4. Likewise, I would rate USAPA’s penchant for ignoring binding arbitration to have pegged the scale at 10. I guess this proves the point that hypocrites cause an uproar about a speck in their brother’s eye but can’t see the plank sticking out of their own eye.

You have got to be kidding me. That's pretty good situational ethics. There is a group of people you are upset with. The video is a slam on each and every US pilot, if they have done harm to you or not. The video may have been produced in the past, but it's still there for the WORLD TO SEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have agreed with a lot of west view points, but for the life of me I can't see how anyone can defend this.

Which BPR rep is going to present the resolution beginning...

"WHEREAS we have run out of legitimate defenses for USAPA choosing to support one pilot group at the expense of the smaller AND

WHEREAS a video featuring a goat..."

I hardly offered a defense - just trying to provide some perspective. What USAPA has done and continues to do is immeasurably worse than some childish video. USAPA has put US pilots and their reputations in a far worse light because the claims made against them are true and have been displayed before four federal judges and a nine member jury. I would like to say I can’t understand how you can support or defend USAPA, but I know all too well how far the morally depraved will go if it serves their own narcissism.

See, you don't know what you are talking about. One has nothing to do with the other and one does not justify the other. I have been one of the current leaders biggest critics, I have supported the C18, does that mean that I shouldn't be upset with this piece of trash?

Glad to hear you feel the same way about USAPA that I do. I will gladly retract my statement about your support of USAPA and offer my sincere apology.

Still, a video no matter how distasteful cannot compare to the actions of a union that violates the law and engages in discrimination against its own members. The video may be stupid, but the Constitution guarantees the right to free speech to both those I agree with and to those with whom I profoundly disagree. USAPA has no Constitutional or statutory basis for the acts they have engaged in.

These are indeed two separate matters and one is WAY worse that the other by any definition you choose.

The shrieking hysterics from the East posters about ONE video done by ONE individual underscores the real problem with the East pilots as a whole: they absolutely cannot prioritize threats. Or put another way, they cannot balance risk against reward, or you can say they cannot pick their battles rationally. In the jungle (from which our species evolved), survival was predicated on rational actions based on what was going on. A hunter might have looked at a prey as quite appetizing for the brood back at the campfire, but if he didn't think before he acted, then the hunter could have been making himself the hunted. You had to think to survive.

Clearly, that doesn't happen with the East as a whole. I can say first hand that they haven't thought one thing through since the time of the merger, and it appears that this habit of leaping before thinking goes back quite a while before the merger.

USA Today Article: Senators Look to FAA to Change Commuting Policy

Can't see any movement ever happening here unless crewmember bears the brunt. Company will never spring for rooms, and domiciles will always open and close. BOS LGA LAS PIT BWI CMH .......

Simple solution - require airlines to build commute, including space-positive deadhead, required rest and hotel, onto front end of every trip.

Well, what do you expect? Safety isn't cheap!

Realistically, someone will run the numbers on this, a few well-placed phone calls by the ATA, you'll hear no more about the issue.

Let's turn it around and make blanket statements about the west pilots. They cannot see their own idiotic actions and feel that any slight against them allows them to act in anyway they wish, towards anyone they wish. I don't think I have ever seen a west pilot call out any other west pilot for their childish, or worse, actions. "It doesn't matter what we do, look what was done to us! Wah!"

A sin is a sin, one has nothing to do with the other, but I will accept your apology.
