When a casual bystander chooses to insert themselves by meddling in affairs not their own, its sorta like separating two fighting dogs by their ears.

We've gone over this before. When either this discussion goes onto a pilot's only website then you will be free and clear of me. Oh, and since when is expressing opinions and sharing knowledge considered meddling?

If this was possible there is one problem.

The east will not consider anything less than DOH. This is not my theory or a guess. The east insisted on DOH even after the Arbitrator said it will not happen. And to date there has been no such compromise initiated from the east.

Therefore USAPA's conduct has been capricious and not conforming to the law. Even Seham understood this enough to avoid to avoid the nature of the DFR in his testimony before the 9th. He played the ripeness card and threw in a few other misdirections (age discrimination) in a desperate shotgun approach. Exactly where in the documents he filed or in the oral testimony did the brilliant Seham claim that his client was negotiating a new CBA in good faith and was thus not guilty of a DFR?

What has been offered by the company so far, that is worthy of a vote on a CBA?

hp_fa, You of all posters should never feel like a meddler. If pangs of doubt hit, just picture all of us rushing to sign on and read your bystander opinions first, then everything will be ok. Just remember we love you too !

What has usapa offered to us? I should be happy to hand my seat over to someone who may not have even brought a job to the table?

If the tables were turned around would you willingly give your seat to a furloughee? 135 west pilots have done that and lost their jobs. How fair is that?

You gambled and lost. It's time to man up to your obligations.

PS. Many of your comments here would have gotten you sued if you were a west pilot. That REALLY makes me proud to be a 'union pilot'.

You gambled and lost. It's time to man up to your obligations.

They didn't "lose" anything. In their minds they did but the fact is a decision didn't go the way they wanted. If anybody has "LOST" something in this merger-to-save-a-thrice-dead-airline, it's been the pilots of America West.

They dealt in good faith and been shafted by the East and the company for 5 years. Fortunately they're batting 1000 in the court system. Only in America can such vulgar displays of tyranny be squashed by the little guy.

USAPA took over shortly after this video by the former ALPA MEC chairman for USAirways pilots. The former union of the USAirways pilots was voted out, because the line pilots felt that the ALPA firewall was not effective enough any more due to union politics.

Have you been writing on the walls of your house trying to figure these out? Did you determine some sort of a mathematical computation that shows the creation of USAPA and DOH was an inevitability? Your right! It's a huge conspiracy and cover up involving the government and America West! Anagrams never lie...HA! WHO says that? What's next? Nic was from outer space so his award is subject to re-negotiation? Do THEY say anything about that?

And what does the west have to offer? (hint we are all one big happy family...at your doing) Exactly what are you wanting the west to give on?? I'm guessing you want the west to roll over to your age and experience??

As for the company, The Kirby was at least a starting point. What has usapa offered but to open every section of the contract. My guess is we are at a less than zero point now.

Please tell me how our esteemed professional negotiator has performed so far, money well spent?
