This is one more reason we took out ALPA. It was the quickest way to take out ALL the MEC who sold us out for years. This, was the final straw after we got MEC chair after chair who were not up to any task. The first MEC chair we ever got to vote for was CLEARY, and I am telling you I voted for him.

Obama's your President and the choices he makes affect you, like it or not. Its called Democracy. Your MEC represented your pilot group. Deal with it. You didnt get DOH. Were you even employed here during the merger?

Not Nixon, you really should read up on your history. Its from Barry Goldwater. And, he was right. The barest amount of research would have provided you the right answer.

But, to the question, if you were to enter into a binding contract with 2 other entities, would you expect that the other 2 entities would live up to the agreement?

A simple yes or no.


(because 2 of the 3 that entered into the binding contract lived up to the agreement, one wussed out and did everything to reneg on it)

Being neither clear nor direct, you have failed to disclose the" contractual violation "that you decided to put out there. Most likely a clearcut Sec. 29 violation. Give it to us. Then we can decide if this was merely a case of one of your selected tearjerker "props" being used to try to convince a female judge that she didn't have to pay closed shop dues all because she had a bunch of kids. Maybe the RIGHT thing to do, since your group is all about integrity, would be to pass the hat for her instead of a bunch of phone jammers.

1) It's a very lightweight "lift" and has zero contextual reference. Personally..I'd require a far more substantial ego to assume that Mr. Goldwater would necessarily lend his words to any position I'm advocating..but your actual mileage may certainly vary. Sorry if that notion flies far over your head.

2) "You" make a binding arbitration agreement?...Show me where/when I personally ever made any such...?

3) I am crushed beyond all recognition, and will merely note that your observation's indicative of one that has nothing of actual substance to offer by way of any semblance of a viable argument.

No matter. Feel perfectly free to carry on with what amounts to no more than one-liner "Nyaah, Nyaahs" if you feel such to be at all productive.

Oscar, are you OK with them blocking the safety hotline?

To be clear, I am not OK with any of the alleged behavior or any behavior like that. I don't know what went on and I don't care to get into the middle of that food fight. The union safety hotline is for the legal protection of the pilots AFTER they are involved in an incident. If you have an immediate safety of flight issue while airborne, you will deal with your dispatcher, ATC, and any company resources you may need. I haven't heard of anyone in the air with an emergency trying to phone their union safety hotline. You try to make this sound like lives would be endangered if your union safety hotline was blocked but that is not the case.

You're right. You have an obligation to your agreements, a binding agreement, made by your past leadership. The agreement binds all parties, past and present. Usapa's end-around is seen exactly for what it is.
