Well, it's not an everyday arbitration when some chick marches a bunch of kids in the room as proof as to why she should win the case. You didn't like it? But "we" accepted it??? Does that mean I can fully expect to have my Grievance Committee take a case where I say the world is flat, therefore I deserve to win money and then say "well, I didn't like the decision, but I will live with it...." Why don't you get real, and cite us some contractual or past practice where she even has a case. Mythbuster, you are REALLY digging a hole on this one.Yes she did deserve to win. Actually, US Air's initial proposal was to go by date of hire, but they wanted the Trump Shuttle guys to use the date they were spun off from Eastern as their date of hire. They were told that they couldn't invent a new date of hire for those pilots and then they fell back onto a W-2 based integration. In the end it was a status and category integration.
So, personal attacks on Wake is all you have left? I've asked all you guys, if you have serious beef's about Wake as a judge, show us all some good empirical proof. Come on, his decisions are public, why not enlighten us.

How about sticking to what is and stay away from some fairy tales or urban legends?
The east pilots during the Trump arbitration did not what to use DOH because you did not like what the results would have been. So for all of your bluster about DOH gold standard BS it is about what the east pilots want and how they can take from another group.

You mean like when the usapa lawyer whined about how much the east pilots have given up during the LOA grievance? That appears to be the entire case. So much money don't we deserve some of it back? The theory that there was a snap back is a flat earth theory. In October 1988 Eastern sent a letter to all of us on the seniority list. That letter stated that if you accept employment with the Trump Shuttle you would be resigning from Eastern Air Lines. Resigning! USAir and Piedmont had hired 300 plus ex EAL pilots. It might be a good idea for you to keep Delta your Delta!

Oscar- Hate is Ex Eal. He signed the letter when he left. The Trump boys signed the same letter. They all resigned from EAL. How do you then go back and use EAL seniority? You veered off the road after he told you how it happened and blew a lot of steam about nothing when you don't get it.Okay, so all your bluster about honoring years of service, seniority, experience, all that stuff is just bluster. I get it. Situational ethics is certainly your right, but it hardly backs up your "gold standard" principles. The fact is that status and category is how airline pilots get paid, therefore that is how their lists are integrated. I know, all of the arbitrators, judges, juries, meter maids, and customs agents are all senile and all biased and all out to get you. Blah, blah, blah.

The dispute was over the C&BL change that usapa made.
