What exactly is the big deal about waiting until the ninth rules? It saves both sides money until we know for sure. The judge is a busy guy (he told me at the last poker game). Check the transcripts judge Wake is very surprised that the ninth has not ruled yet. Even the usapa lawyers are saying it will only be a 1-3 month delay.

Bigger picture. The federal injunction that requires usapa to bargain for the Nicolau is still in place. Nicolau is still alive and well thank you very much. The only thing delayed now is the money part. It just allows you all to save up for the assessment.

With NMB on the property now that pretty much neutered your boy anyway. When the 9th goes the east way this will be a fatal blow to the west. The company will have had enough and realize that the best move for them is to sell your side to someone like Republic. The west is like an anchor on this operation and the only profitable part is the east network. Dougie can make some good coin when he unloads the east to AMR or UAL. The greed out west has put you in a bad spot! It is not your fault that your operation out west is located in the subprime epicenter.

What target? The west has nothing to offer. Every West pilot knows they signed on to lowest pay and benefits in the industry. The west contract was managements target all along. No east pilot signed on for letter 93 wages. Just think what management could do with west pay in another bankruptcy. Yup, That's one strong pilot group.
We only have 120 plus airframes, and lopsided dates of hire that would put all of you conveniently on top of us. Nope, nothing to offer.

I already know the answer and I suspect that because you are afraid to put your money where your mouth is by calling either a west BPR or NAC member or former west JNC member that you know the answer as well.

The 353 is in the Kirby proposal, that is a fact, and while I haven't seen it on the USAPA website a simple call from you to them would clear things up. I suspect that you don't want to do that because you don't have the metal to admit when you're wrong.

Please explain how the NMB has anything to do with this?

That is your dream from a do over but not reality. I have asked many times but no one ever can show me the SEC filings or company doc that prove your theory that the west is the anchor. Put up or shut up.

BTW good luck if your dream does come true AMR or UAL will eat usapa's lunch during arbitration. Keep in mind majority rules and you east guys would be the minority.


Greed, take a look in the mirror. We are trying to get what we agreed to and let someone else decide. The east are the ones that made up your idea of fair.

What is that some of you do not understand about this. The few of you know who you are. I just finished removing off topic posts relating to things in the past that has nothing to do with your issues today. This is your ONE AND ONLY WARNING. Next one is getting time off.
 
The "angry F/O" thing is a cheap shot just as the "rookie" BS is. Pilots on both sides of the issue are simply fighting to defend what they believe they have rightfully earned.

Those on either side who claim that their side is necessarily more righteous than the other provide the most legitimate source of embarrassment.

Cheap shot? I don't know, more a statement of fact as I can assure I was a founding member of the club when the NIC award came out. My point is that there are plenty of angry F/O's, captains too, east and west. Agree on the more righteous part.

"Cheap shot" may be a bit off the mark. Inaccurate would be more like it. The "Patiently Awaited Their Turn For Long Awaited Attrition F/O Club" has a nice ring.

I hear ya, we're walking in the same shoes, just the west guys want their's too. We have different life experiences, shaping our views.

It is true that the AWA position in that merger was DOH. I talked to your MEC Chairman during that little episode. By the way we have not heard much from you since your boy the judge changed his mind the other day.

Forget it, Clear will only believe what is broadcast west of the Mississippi. If it comes from any source of the east, it must be a lie. He won't even read contract updates, must all be lies.

Wow,,,,, Earth to Hate2fly,,,,when Doogie unloads the east to AMR(?), they are not taking pilots, or airplanes, just gates and market share. Ever notice how AMR has an exclusivity agreement with Boeing, they do not want east Airbuses, and those will conveniently stay with LCC, as the West joins forces with (?). Bye Bye.

Perhaps I'm being exceptionally dense here...but; I can't find any truly viable argument therein for the east to suddenly and warmly embrace the nic, although...the possibility of "the West joins forces with (?) Bye Bye" does have some significant appeal....

Hate2 keeps bringing up this fragmentation fantasy, wherein the mighty east ends up embraced by a welcoming larger pilot group, who desperately needs something he thinks you have claim to (which as an aside you do not), while the tiny inconsequencial West is merely sold off as an afterthought to Republic or Trans States or whatever.

I was simply deriding his folly in a satirical fashion, But hey, if you want to be sold to AMR, I am sure they can find a place for you in their seniority list, right below the furloughed TWA pilots.
