Be careful now. They may be under LOA 93 wages now but not for long. And oh, yes, they saved this company a sh**t pot load of money.

And please don't forget the West f/a's are stuck in hell. No thanks to you. You guys out west are soooo self involved and crow at the top of your lungs about how much better YOUR contract is........yet your flying partners are eating TV dinners if anything. <_<

Well guess what.....I've looked at your contract and it's pretty sorry in my opinion. Your rigs suck. Ours are better.( even after going through 2 bankruptcies.) And your f/a's may as well not have any rigs at all. Not to mention they get dragged through hell and high water.

So, please talk to the hand......

So I guess we should all spend a bunch of time and energy worrying about how much the FA's make when we can't even solve our own problems? BTW, the pie is only so big, and if their slice is larger, ours is smaller. They're big girls, and they can figure out their own situation, thank you.

Yeah... I was surprised that a customer would know who J Mac is. Somehow that idea that we have posters with multiple screen names keeps popping up...
I'm astonished at the bizarre postings from the east here. It's as though someone had been visiting a patient in a mental hospital and left instructions for logging into this sight on a public computer. A movie has been planned about the exploits of the east pilots: "One Flying Cukoo's Nest".

You gotta admit it's good entertainment! Although knowing JJ's history I hope he doesn't stroke out over all this...

As flight partners, our situations are unique. And as such we should support each other.

This isn't so much about who's slice of the pie is larger but about each having a "fair" slice of the pie.

Don't be selfish.

Tell me when these guys exert the power they think they have to get the Nic...................................................................
............. Give me the date when it happens.

Monday, January 04, 2010. Approximately 9:00am. You probably will not notice it at first, or even be aware it happened.

Happy New Year.

And the former east management that ran away did such a fine job I guess.

Again you go back to what happened 5 years ago. Today, who is in charge of daily operations? Look at an org chart. Every one of those names is a former east manager. So poor operational planning. Who would that be? As I said Parker's big mistake was leaving those in people in charge. His next mistake would be to leave those people in charge after this.

My guess senior management will try and save their skins by placing blame and taking prisoners.

Side note. Was it Parker that made the decision that a 767 could fly from CLT-HNL non stop or was that a pilot in a management position that decided?

Amen, things worked when we didn't have the east culture around to screw things up. Ask PSA.

Get rid of the east mismanagement, we saw what happened when they ran the show...an airline days away from Chapter 7.

As a PHX based FA, I am not understanding where you are coming from on this...

Not sure how you formed your opinion about West FAs, but its not quite accurate.
If you really want to know what West FAs think, PM me.
But actually would prefer if you just left all us FAs out of your little feud.
Safe to say most of us are quite tired of it and would prefer to move forward.

Not desperate at all.
It was your criteria - no specific date = desperate because it won't happen. Do I really need to quote your post to show that?

So tell me a specific date that an arbitrator's award will get you the snapbacks. If you can't with certainty then your own definition says you're desperate because you won't get it. Same for getting off of LOA93 - no specific date = desperate because you won't get out from under it.

If anything, you and the others sound desperate - clutching at any straw that comes along or can be invented in a vain attempt to keep hope alive...

Just a quick thought/question, Loa 93 states loa84 pay rates frozen/then reduced 18%. The 18% reduction now becomes the floor. 12/31/2009 last day of pay freeze. If the 18% still remains the floor(which mgt. thinks) and no freeze, the small % increases year over year should still happen. Not sure if we would get it all at once, or small increases as what was scheduled if no loa 93 exsisted. I'm not sure how this will play out, but I think that at the very least we should get those small step increases. I think mgt. feels we shouldn't even get those, but I think their wrong.

Exactly what I think! At the very worst, if the arbiTRAITOR screws us again we will at least be getting 3% pay raises for the next decade. ANother reason to VNIIMN!!!

US wasnt days away from chapter 7, the ATSB and GECAS was quite fine with US' financials, I was there at CCY, were you?

You are correct.

The problem is Parker has left east upper management in place running the daily ops. Parker is the CEO not an ops guy. But 100 CX's in one day will get his attention and draw some hard questions.

Robert Isom is the COO, and he is not an east guy. Even though you would like to lay this at "east feet", it's up to the CEO to come up with the team to do the job and he should know by now if they were up to the task or not. Parker's the captain, he takes the glory or the blame that goes along with the big bucks.
