The west is desperate. None of them can account for plan B and that is why they won't answer the question - when will we see Nicolau- give us a date!
Delay Delay Delay. There is nothing the west can do to counter this and with all the anger coming from HPER, Luvn, NLC, Flip, this burns them up!!!
To bad they cant figure out this thing will never end because of they're greed!

What the West can do.

As you know though, its being done and as 2 years with usapa approaches and no DOH, it seems to be working as well.

You want a date right JJ, I am comfortable with knowing it will happen. But it seems you are very uncomfortable knowing it will happen as well.

This will end and it will be very difficult for you when reality sinks in, maybe based on your multiple personality posting......it has.

3 sides agreed to binding arbitration, agreed to live with whatever came out.

One side wussed out and created a spite union. This isn't about Doug, sorry, reserve your Doug hate for another issue.

Do I have to constantly point you back to the arbitration? Seems so.

The buck/blame stops at the top. Now I'll type this slowly, who is at the top? This guy Cleary? or Maclvenna? Jeez you know I looked at the Annual report and those names weren't there. However there was this guy named Parker and another fellow name of Kirby.

See when you haul down the big bucks that means anything that happens you're responsible for. The $500 million in profits? Doug gets the credit. Pilots fiasco? Doug gets the blame! That's the way it works when you're a CEO.

You are correct.

The problem is Parker has left east upper management in place running the daily ops. Parker is the CEO not an ops guy. But 100 CX's in one day will get his attention and draw some hard questions.

BTW I agree that Parker should have shown leadership at the beginning. From day one of this merger he should have told the east that US Air was at deaths door and they should be lucky to have a job. Now straighten up and deal with it. Instead he pandered to the east pilots. I think because again he got bad advice from the same east managers that told him to be afraid of the east pilots.

I believe that mistake is about to come top an end.

Clear,

Team Tempe is way out of their league. The DL run was a joke and they got wrecked trying that merger. Parker, Kirby and Isom are at the top and they are to blame for a messed up operation. East senior management took the money and ran almost 5 years ago. They must have been laughing all the way to the bank. Bular and Hogg give us a break..........they are just pilots. By the way crew scheduling back here is saying they have never seen it this bad............poor operational planning.

You get what you pay for.

Hmmm, just so I'm clear.

Aren't you the guys that are working under LOA 93 wages?

Aren't you the guys that saved the company over a billion dollars?

And WHO is way out of their league?

Well, we certainly agree that Doug is accountable to the shareholders. Do you think he'll put them at risk of a potential settlement against the company in the hundreds of millions by agreeing to anything but the Nicolau award? After his henchmen have testified in a federal courtroom that they intend and always intended to use it? Addington has held Parker's feet to the fire, just as it has USAPA's.

And the former east management that ran away did such a fine job I guess.

Again you go back to what happened 5 years ago. Today, who is in charge of daily operations? Look at an org chart. Every one of those names is a former east manager. So poor operational planning. Who would that be? As I said Parker's big mistake was leaving those in people in charge. His next mistake would be to leave those people in charge after this.

My guess senior management will try and save their skins by placing blame and taking prisoners.

Side note. Was it Parker that made the decision that a 767 could fly from CLT-HNL non stop or was that a pilot in a management position that decided?

Dougweiser is a frumpy D-bag to be sure. HOWEVER...he did not manipulate/pervert the NMB and other labor laws to concoct USAPA. Bradford/Seham et. al. did. Once that ball was rolling, there was very little he could LEGALLY do from his vantage point. That's why it fell on the laps of the West pilots to raise the funds and kick USAPA's teeth in. We did. The "pilot fiasco" as you put it has plenty of blame to go around. Parker can't interfere with organized labor drives...of course, those laws were not written with the intent that USAPA has twisted them with but they are the law none the less. Parker was powerless to stop the election/C&BL of USAPA and has no culpability as to their behavior in the last 21 months.

I'm not a Dougweiser fan. There are a lot of reasons to not like him but USAPA's illegal crusade to twist the law and steal what they refused to negotiate is not one of them. His hands were tied and Seham lied his butt off to the AFOC. Easties were dumb enough to fall for it and look at the mess they're in.

Management has been the only winner in any of this. You can thank the East pilots for that.

BTW, you seem incredibly well informed for a $50 dollar upgrader.

Be careful now. They may be under LOA 93 wages now but not for long. And oh, yes, they saved this company a sh**t pot load of money.

And please don't forget the West f/a's are stuck in hell. No thanks to you. You guys out west are soooo self involved and crow at the top of your lungs about how much better YOUR contract is........yet your flying partners are eating TV dinners if anything. <_<

Well guess what.....I've looked at your contract and it's pretty sorry in my opinion. Your rigs suck. Ours are better.( even after going through 2 bankruptcies.) And your f/a's may as well not have any rigs at all. Not to mention they get dragged through hell and high water.

So, please talk to the hand......
