Hate- after reading through all the crap, and I mean crap, for a month- it is readily apparent that these guys blow all smoke, and have absolutely NO PULL.
It's just a matter of time. The law is on the side of the West and the Binding Arbitration. Whether this place dissipates or merges, the NIC will always dictate your position.

It must be embarassing to go on and on, after your beloved CEO has the NIC on his desk, and just does not sign it!

The beloved CEO who has Pimped your operation? The one whose decision it was to pair down to just 3 1/2 focus cities? The CEO who has denied your snapback wages? The CEO who accepted the Binding Arbitration, in the form of the Nicolau award as thelist?

Can you imagine how frustrating it must be to these guys?

Actually its been quite satisfying watching our legal team line their ducks in a row, while USAPA steps on its collective crank. Its just a matter of time.

All the stories, the bluster, threats on and on, and there is NO date they can tell you when this deals becomes their reality?

Who's threatening anyone on here? The truth is out, its the NIC. Where have you been? THe hollow threats I hear are mostly on this board....which is only seen by few.

Bottom line is this, and they don't get it!

ahem......you serious Clark?

This was an ALPA deal. Was it ever signed? NO!

Go read the Wake transcripts again. All the way to the part where the jury found Usapa guilty.

They will go on and on, but it never gets' signed. Gee, I wonder why? They cannot get it through their skulls that an ALPA deal is not a USAPA deal!

USAPA is a joke. You know, thats why youre on here trying to garner support. The East resolve just isnt what you think it is. Sure, when you intimidate your flying partner, he/she may reluctantly agree with you. But youre wasting your time. Ask your BPR buddies to get a contract up for vote, once the 9th denies your appeal, and lets just see how much support you have.

Just like when you sign for a Ford in Tempe, doesn't mean you bought a Hyundai in Flagstaff! Bottom line is this- it is all SMOKE. They have absolutely no legal ground to stand on.

Are we reading the same court transcripts? Seriously, the ones I've seen indicate otherwise. They arent "Sehamed-Up" I guess.

Ask them when it happens, lets see, it has been what 5 yrs. since this crap deal was announced, and it still has not been consummated! Ask them to give you a date, and time and place. It is met with blank stares and BS. They have NO power and they know it.

Once the litigation is done, which should be soon, you will have a better picture of your future. So my SWAG is that things at Usapa will change faster than you think. You 'brothers' dont want to waste anymore time on Usapas failures.

And, my guess is that, any merger scenario Doug crafts will include the Nic, whether there is a single contract or not. I just got my Crystal Ball tuned up.

Apparently, if one can't give a specific date they are desperate...at least according to...End of USAPA.

Jim
Not desperate at all. Tell me when these guys exert the power they think they have to get the Nic. You know they can't, we know it too.................This thing has been on Parkers' desk for years. How come it just does not get signed? Give me the date when it happens. They don't have the power they think they have.

Well what does it say about a person who would profess to gloat over ANYONE losing his/her job? The above quote speaks for itself, why should I interupt?

Not a gloat, I don't want ANYONE to lose their job.

As well, I don't want anyone to destroy the airline and put 20000+ people out of work because they couldn't live up to an agreement.

Bottom line is this. THis is FLAT OUT WAR. All the hollow threats are just that. Tell legal arguments to George S. Patton. He would laugh and run you over with a Sherman!. This is the bottom line- these guys can go on for days and nights about their integrity, their honor their whatever. It is all SMOKE. Ask them to give you a date and time when the deal is theirs, and they will look at you like deer in the headlights! They cannot, will not, ever, be able to tell you, because they have still not figured out that the smokin' deal they got was an ALPA smokin deal, and ALPA is DOA! New bargaining agent, seniority negotiated, deal NEVER implemented! They can cry day and night, night and day, the reality is they missed the train of a lifetime. ALPA was DOA when it came time to sign on the dotted line, and guess what? It never got signed. Ask them again why it sits on Dougies desk, yet never becomes reality? They know. It can't become law because of all their cries and whimpers, Doug has to sign with the ELECTED bargaining agent! It isn't ALPA is it! Ask them! Ask them! H-P Driver, LUVN One of you PLEASE, tell me when the magic day comes when Doug signs the deal! Tell them when you see them, because they just don't get it! ALPA had to sign the deal, they didn't, therefore you don't have the deal. GAME OVER! All the BS you reads is just that. REMEMBER THE BOTTOM LINE- THEY DON'T have the power they claim they have! Had they had it, it would have happened!!

Watching you get this wound up makes my day. It's like those Looney Tunes when the steam would come shooting out of Elmer Fudd's ears. What's your Blood Pressure? 350/690? Better look into it.

You know for a fact the only way you'll evade the Nic. is to NEVER get a new contract and even that is debatable. I don't think Wake is going to be patient for YEARS. It's just not going to happen. Nothing on this planet is going to change that. You're in the minority. Believe it or not I have some friends on your side...99/2000 hires. They're ready to move on and improve their standard of living. They're not with you on this one. Most realize that their two years of active service, followed by 5+ years of furlough before the merger...doesn't buy them much. I'm not saying their happy with the Nic. Either is the AMW #1 guy that immediately lost 10%. That's the give and take of binding arbitration.

The company has been crystal clear on this...on record. Nic is the list for the combined contract. There are many MANY more rational people on the East than you JJ. Time to move on...You got to be in the picture with the special box at the NMB...grinning ear to ear with your heros. I'm sure it's framed on your desk. You have a nice memento. However, time to move along there buckaroo. The train left the station and you and a handful of AFOC members are still trying to negotiate the ticket price. It's over.

If you could have done it, you would have done it! You can't, and we know it!

How's retirement going for you? not well I take it since you spend so much time here, pretty sad maybe you can hook up with Boeing Boy, he has no life either. IMHO your end will run this place into the ground before anyone has the chance to be fired.

Going great, I'm most likely younger than you, in upper management at another company. I come here for the giggles, and I don't work weekends.

The east guys put on a comedy show like no other. Maybe these threads will be part of some future grad school work in Behavioral Health, its fascinating, I can't look away!

Clear,

We will hold you guys right where you are in your position out west. We will do this for another 10 plus years..........you will be begging for DOH by the time we finish with you.

Remember we control this issue with our vote.........not some judge in the desert.

Hate
I am curious what you would say in this scenario....

Doug throws some money your way to appease.....bear with me...and then declares bankruptcy......still there? OK and then in BK, negates the T/A implements the NIC as a little "Thank You", kinda like the Cactus Call Sign (You seem to have gotten used to that) and then....reduces your pay, all the while your Head is spinning. His legal maneuvering in regards to your work action has just put the final nail in the coffin for the Nic and you still have Low wages...

Oh wait, that wont happen because you're going to show him who the boss is right?

Hate- Is this the funniest thing you have ever seen here? What the )*(&&%is this toolbag talking about?

The west is desperate. None of them can account for plan B and that is why they won't answer the question - when will we see Nicolau- give us a date!
Delay Delay Delay. There is nothing the west can do to counter this and with all the anger coming from HPER, Luvn, NLC, Flip, this burns them up!!!
To bad they cant figure out this thing will never end because of they're greed!

Here's your answer: No date known at this time. We will see you in court again. If we win in court, IT WILL COST YOU BIG TIME. If you win in court.....wait, you haven't won in court yet have you?? Now where did they put that AFO smiley face????

Can you give the the date that DOH USAPA promised becomes the seniority list for the new US Airways?

Can you give me a date for when the new bargaining agent gets us a new contract?

Come on now, don't hurt their self esteem, they have lost more than the Los Angeles Clippers.

Oh well, I guess if you can't live up to an agreement, you can't be expected to accept reality.

The funny thing is, that in an Agency Shop, you get to pay too!

There are 35,000 give or take employees in case you're counting.

The CEO is DOUG PARKER and in the end he is the one ultimately responsible for the success or failure of the enterprise placed in his hands by the Shareholders.

Leadership comes from the top not the pilots union
