Here is the difference, US employees think they are entitled to work, belong to unions and do the minimum and whine when they have to to more. Standard failed east coast attitude. At America West we were fighters, we did the job, we worked to move the airline forward.
HA , now that;s funny. Please see transition agreement. Parker can furlough 500 of you and it has NOTHING to do with the East or USAPA. What a stretch dude!! Please define "junior to them".
At least we know how to spell "lemonade"Well said, HP. These whiners could not run a lemmonaide stand. Always playing the victim and pointing the finger somewhere else for their failures. A legacy of failure brought to Tempe.

I hope I never see the day where they have a captain who was hired after the first officer working a pairing I'm on - not because I wanna share my opinion on your debacle (no one cares anyway) BUT because I will walk off that trip for safety concerns.
I flew from PHX to the belly of the beast (CLT) today (Jan 1) and saw no disruptions. Despite the numerous "cash or chaos" statements it apppears it was just hot air as illusory as the snapback clock.
Where are the committed east pilot groupies that were going to force Doogie into contract 84 payrates?
Lots of blacktop relic airplanes taking off and landing, lots of "good union pilots" walking in the concourses, no pickets and no cancellations on the schedule board.
I guess we will add that to the list of victories that Cleary and the AFOC are claiming. Now waiting for the 9th circuit smackdown. The tidal Wake will be shortly thereafter weilding the contempt of court hammer.
So sad, it didn't have to be this way. If East and West were combined we could be tough to battle; sadly the east has permanently poisoned that future.
01-01-10...Did you guys get the CASH today or not?
Yes, as a matter of fact, I got my money today
Massive cancellations in CLT the company has pre-cancelled alot of flights and does not put them on the monitors in order not to look bad. Maintenance write ups are through the roof many planes grounded. Remember safety is always first.I flew from PHX to the belly of the beast (CLT) today (Jan 1) and saw no disruptions. "junior to them" def.. in a state of less seniority.
Well if 500 West pilots were to be furloughed while east pilots junior to them remained employed, it most certainly would effect usapa and the east. Furthermore, as was asked in the original post, where would they go because they bring no job to the merger, they would go into a merged list above the employed east pilots junior to them in a manner similar to how the MDA pilots were placed below other furloughed east pilots because they were junior to them.
I really do not see what you think is funny about it, unless of course, by funny you mean in an anxiously nervous sort of fashion, because you are junior to them.
