Good, let them do it, makes it all the easier to fire them.

Can you fire somebody for finding safety issues that need correction? Can you fire somebody for not requesting shortcuts? Can you fire somebody for flying a little slower so the precious on-time numbers plummet?

I dunno, guys. I'm sorry for ya, I really am. I'm just watching and hoping we can get our contract wrapped up this year.

I have never heard of anyone fired for a legitimate write up. I have however, heard of those who were fined for NOT writing up or covering up maintenance problem........Good luck with good riddance if this is what you advocate. Sully in Corp. Safety would have a real problem with a USAirways East or West pilot being fired for any legitimate write up................

Wow, these days, it takes a lot of cooperation to keep a 737 flying without an understanding pilot.........Try and fire a pilot for making a legitimate write up H-P. Doesn't work too good friend..........Maybe when you weren't the H-P early retiree you tried it. But now, well you are just the early H-P retiree...........

Hey, if crew management gives huge numbers of vacations to pilots in early January, coinciding with everybody timing out at the end of December, is this called a pilot job action? H-P early-care to comment?Looks like the F/A group in PHX had some serious staffing issues also. I thought all was cool in the west.....
