They make really soft toilet paper when your out hunting or camping.... I have never worn them either. I have them from 513,514 and 567

<_< -------- I've got a couple of 530 I'll trade you! ;) Maybe we could ask Gorden if he has some leftovers?

Hey assume away! No I come to work as expected and do my job. Now with 22 years on the property I`m going to be shown the door. I do not think it is unreasonable to expect to recover that "banked" sick time. Since you like to "assume", I`ll assume you are one that burns all his sick and vacation time then whines about it to your coworkers. Who then hold a "hot dog benefit" for you becase you have exhausted all your sick time! Yeah, I`ve seen your type on the floor. No wonder this company is failing.

Couldn't have said it better myself. its called having a work ethic. Too many guys use the excuse of what the company has done to them as an excuse to cover their lack of a work ethic. In fact they were worthless long before 2003. Somewhere along the line it became cool to be a slug at aa.

As for compensation for accrued sick time. I certainly didn't save it for the 25 bucks but that's probably the most we can hope for in bk.

AA89 yep your right about the slug in fashion thing, have to wonder what some of these people will do in the life after aa.

Totally agree with you even back when we got the huge wage guys were bitching and didn't have any work ethic. Didn't take the company long to realize we weren't worth that much..

In for a rough reality check, that's what. Especially in this economy AND coming from a union position.
The streets going to be tough for a lot these guys.

Ok, I will play, when did anyone get a huge wage increase?

Right after 9/11 with full retro might qualify.
You guys ratified your contract in November, 2001; the flight attendants ratified their contract (with decent raises and retro) on September 13, 2001. The pilots might have if they had taken Carty's offer of baseball-style arbitration.

And your point now?

No problem Buck, a lot of guys forget the $5+ an hour raise we got in that 2001 contract but they remember the paycut we took in 2003 for some reason. And they just can't let anyone else forget about it either...........

Around 1992 or 1993 when the contract extension was voted in, B-scalers went to a five year top out. I had six or seven years and went straight to top scale. It was a pretty huge jump if I remember correctly.
