As of now I do not see any effort or drives to remove the TWU from the property. I say it needs done NOW. Tulsans are seeing these idiots on the news acting like scared fools. Its fresh in our minds. Wait too long and people forget these current events. I have AMP and AMFA cards from previous drives that faded out just as quick as it tried to start up. I say DO IT NOW AND QUICK.

Why tell an 8 year anything other then everything is going to be fine. What he should worry about is the people being laid off, he should be going to the unemployment office to see how he can make things easier for his members, like local 563 has done. Seems typical for a 514 board member to be only concerned for himself.

TUL should be embarrassed for voting this guy and a FSC in as president.

I have a new found respect for the TUL mechs, it does seem like they are paying attention to what's going on, and I would think that during the next election they will not split the vote and have a FSC win the the election of the largest maint base.

Relax...We're gonna repeal ObamaCare and all those other unneccesary government regulations and then the unregulated free-market is gonna take over.

There will be so many insurance companies wanting to provide you with affordable medical care you'll be able to buy their policies at the dollar store...hell you may even have to put a no soliciting sign on your front door to keep those annoying free-marketers off your property.

With the money you're gonna save on medical costs you'll be able to take your kids to Hawaii. (You'll prolly have to fly United though)

Brothers and Sister TWU Members,

As the LBO was to better the March 22 terms, we understand that AA implemented many concessions that were not acceptable.  At this point, I, for one, am proud of the turnout of our membership in participating in the voting process.  I would also like to add that, where some may feel satisfied with the results, others may be disappointed.  This is true in all votes, regardless of what is at stake.  Therefore, I ask you to please be considerate of each other’s views.

It is vital that we move forward united.  The path forward is laid out for us; our next step is the 1113 motion before the Bankruptcy Judge to abrogate the M&R and Stores agreements.  If the Bankruptcy Judge rules in favor of American Airlines, M&R and Stores will be working under the March 22 terms.

If the M&R and Stock Clerks are placed under the March 22nd terms, then there will be less AMT's and therefore less work since the outsourcing will increase by 5%.

If there less airplanes at TUL then there will less of a need for support personal. Is that part of the "me too" clause?

It always seems the media in Tulsa finds the guys that make us all look like idiots. Reporter should have asked Mullings if he was going to have to live under the contract had it passed. Cirri was at an "undisclosed location" and wasn't available to answer questions. Let everyone remember that when we needed our leadership to step up and make a statement, Mullings and McGill were whineing about how they hoped the POS would pass. If this doesn't make everyone want to throw the Totally Worthless Union out then what will? Oh, Mullings was the one that instead of working towards getting out the no voters, spent all his time slandering Bob Owens with that stuff that he didn't have the sack to sign his name to.

First off a big thanks to Tulsa for delivering the necessary votes to vote this down. Anyway you count it the Line and AFW combined can't deliver the amount of votes that were cast for NO, so thanks again Tulsa.

But to the anti-Tulsa stuff on this board, and I am guilty myself at times, we do need to clarify who we are attacking or angry with. That of course is local 514. They are the ones putting out all the fear and flat out lies. So until the layoff hits me or I no longer post, I will clarify my statements by writing Tulsa "local" or "514" so I am not attacking the base. The membership in Tulsa is basing their decisions around the information given to them by their local, and after watching these news clips, I think we all know exactly what this local fed their members.
