Tulsa Union Leaders in the News

In one local interview (disgruntled due to the "no" vote) Joe McGill was quoted saying "how am I supposed to afford video games for my kids now".
We have to rid ourselves of this plague anyway possible.

Go get a new Job, I uprooted my whole family on three days notice because that's what I had to do.

Learning to over come TWU Union Leader FEAR

Ironically, we must all experience fear in order to become fearless. Fear is a necessary signal - it's a warning alarm to our bodies and minds that action is needed. We become fearless when we heed that warning; when we tap into our inner strength, exude self-confidence, and forge ahead.

Being fearless may not mean you dance through your days without fear - it simply means you confront it, and interpret it in a way that makes you the master.

Living fearlessly is more than merely viewing the glass as half full - it is holding an enduring, optimistic vision of the full quart of milk.

Never again should the Union Leaders or the Company control the Mechanic and Related group using FEAR. What stands out to me in the vote results is that enough Tulsa AMT's rejected the TWU Fear to help swing this rejection of a bad offer.

Now the TWU Fear mongering fool wants to place all blame on the line stations for the vote outcome. He is defeated but cannot admit that defeat to himself so he seeks to blame.

The fact is, there were enough Tulsa AMT's with the courage to stand up against TWU FEAR and the latest version of the concessions for jobs program was derailed. I am impressed!

I hope and pray that from this day forward, the Union Leaders themselves learn to reject FEAR also, but I doubt that is within them. In fact, given that the FEAR message is still being presented in the Local Tulsa Media, I suspect another FEAR LACED CAMPAIGN and VOTE is coming from the TWU soon.

let me put things in perspective from kids games to:

How do i tell my kids that I put their college tuition on my credit card?

How do I tell my kids that I dont have enough money for the mortgage this month?

How do I tell my kids we can't afford to go on a vacation when I work for an airline?

How do i tell my kids we have to move because I can't afford to live here?

what a difference in priorities!

can anyone wonder why we voted "NO"

Video games? What about food and clothes? I guess he never went through the rough years, wearing your cousins used tough skins, mixing powdered milk, and spreading liverworst on stale bread from Aldi. This guy gained alot of public support.

Joe McGill if all you have to worry is kids games you are in a very comfortable position compare with the line AMT's that have to live in a high cost of living area. Why not move to Tulsa? Same reason you don't move to JFK or LAX.

How about medical costs?
Didn't you get the message? We bricks are expendable and don't need affordable med coverage. The wife works in the med insurance field and she said something about a provision of O'Bummer Care that financially penalizes an employer for having a "Too Good" medical plan for its employees - that would explain a lot.

In addition, the company is obviously trying to use its people as a profit generator (as they did with their investment company) by increasing costs for crappy insurance. They self insure and contract the admin out to a group like United - it's called ASO - administrative services only - and provide an account for the admin to write checks from.

Someone should explain to Centrepork that a company should make money from its business operations, not its people.

It's not easy being a brick at AMR/AA.

Wow, just watched the videos. Where did they find these two clowns? They look and speak like left over extras from the movie Deliverance. Kudos to all the NO voters - especially in Tulsa.

This guy did not help the "I VOTED YES TO SAVE JOBS" supporters..

Sounds like he voted yes to save video games.

Wow. Talk about out of touch with the majority. This guy seems to have no clue about what it is like to experience the really hard times. He is worried about video games. lmao

I've heard him tell more lies and spread more rumors than any other eboard member. He uses the women in partswashing to spread his BS. He is more of a problem than management. We have to petition him out or vote him out.

Just make sure when the TWU is voted out, these same types of clueless people do not get voted in or appointed in any position whatsoever.
