JOB SECURITY

Wrong, union work forces earn more and are more productive, that's a fact.

Look at non Union carriers vs unionized.
You are nuts, more productive get your head out of your you know what. Im a union member and I can tell you you are dead wrong

DL Tech Ops is only second to GE Engine Services as far as scale of engine overhaul. Heavy airframe work is on a small scale.

Buck,
As of year end 2014 DL outsources about 37% of their total maintenance expense. They focus on high profit engine overhaul work and have people working that don't even do DL engines. They work on other airline engines that employ a lot of highly paid AMTs. Legacy AA is at 30% and US...drum roll please, is at 52% of MX budget outsourced.

700UW,
Great scope clause you are about to force on us. DL has not CBA and been through BK and has more work in-house.

Every Airframe overhaul at DL is outsourced.

They have a hangar in Mexico they have a JV with, and didnt build a new hangar in the US.

They fly empty planes to SIN to get their interior mods done.

Force upon you?

Dude go cry the victim somewhere else, PMAA outnumbers PMUS.

And shall I get an artist to draw a cartoon so you understand that it took a court and a judge to ABROGATE the CBA for them to get the right to outsource?

Your article shows the use of may if not all of the European Union countries. They are Socialist in nature. I lived in Germany for a few years after the service and I can tell you for them full unionization works. Why, because they are socialists. Is that what you want 700UW? My guess is that you only vote by party, if the unions pushed it you ( meaning socialists that vote by party proxy ) communism you would vote for it. Full unionization in the United States? Full unionization ignores skill in lieu of the member of the party. You remind me of a novel by Aldous Huxley, A Brave New World, where everyone is tiered to perform the job.
