In good times [see $1 billion in profits over the past 2 years] the company comes to fleet first and offers crumbs. Prior years, fleet's disorganization would have already accepted the crumbs. Then they give the mechanics more, and the pilots even more. In bad times, the pilots go first, then the company goes to the other groups and tells the others to take what the pilots took.Just one question. Why? Why does fleet have to have a T/A first? Is it written in stone somewhere that fleet has to reach a deal before anyone else?
Its not that I don't want a fair deal I just don't understand why we have to be first. Can someone please explain this to me. Looking for a honest facts and an answer. 700 do you know?
There's a reason why fleet goes first. Fleet used to accept the crumbs then complain why the pilots and mechanics got more. This time, Fleet isn't settling for crumbs.
