Take this for what it's worth..... in discussions with an AGC it was revealed that the company will infact roll the west into the east if this T/A is voted down.

They WILL NOT go back for another negotiation, they only did this time b/c of maintenance.

Wow, so they're really going to roll us into the East contract? Again? Sorry, I don't believe it. They've cried wolf too many times. There's no wolf.

Tim , I’m going to step out on a branch and say that I speak for the majority of PHX , so when I say we will withdraw our support for any further “actionâ€￾ I think that’s a valid enough statement . .. And remember that this is PHX , the station that brought you the you tube protests , the station that brought you the letters in the passengers bags , the station that had to be LOCKED DOWN for the super bowl … there are more fighters here than anywhere else …
I seen the Youtube video. I saw the chants, "What do we want....a Contract".... "When do we want it.....Now". So PHX got a contract, even though all admit it blows and PHX is making love to it.
Sorry, nobody is impressed with PHX pimping itself out. If PHX was solid it would stand with the masses for a fair and equitable contract. Again, to this day, PHX admits this contract sux.

All I have seen is all talk and white flags from PHX.

OTOH, I applaud the leadership of LAS and the second class stations who are standing and not rolling over for a unjust and inequitable contract that screws over us all.

fuzz,
"So Tim did you get this conversation on tape or are we just suppose to take your word for this scare tactic. I just love the way you come up with this BS you put on this board.
Maybe your just afraid that this is going to pass and you wont be able to gloat with your predication of a 80 to 90 percent no."

fuzz hate to break it to ya. But I was told the very same thing about 2 weeks ago from a totally different source . not from Tim.

so is just consequence or is there some strong validity to it.

one thing I don't do is sit around and spread gossip and use scare tactics. It is what it is believe it or not

Tim,
just curious . Can you check with your UA boys and see whats the average seniority for the UA guys in hubs and there

field stations. I'm guessing about 20-25 yrs.

O-man

and if you get the chance and talk to AF. be sure to thank him for his bone head decision . It just cost Randy a daily double

of NO votes. for may and june. His latest mob tactic just OPENED alot of peoples eyes.

You may be right or wrong who knows. But his attitude was they were sick of screwing around with Fleet, oops I mean the BACKBONE OF OUR COMPANY.......ha ha ha ha ha

I'm not afraid if this contract gets in. Fear is the essance of a yes vote. Just like the bankruptcy contract, I fought against Canale's lies but the masses were fearful and voted yes. If it gets in, we will have to stick together for the next battle. Same if it is voted out. The majority will decide and their voice will be 'sacred'. It's called collective bargaining.

I didn't say 80-90 were voting No. What I said was that I'd like to get 80% to vote no. I think that is attainable especially since everyone knows a merger will kill us under this deal. Time will tell and at this point your opinion is just as valid as mine on how the vote will go. I do know that PHL and CLT are super big No's.

Look Im not saying its not possible that it could happen, especially sense its in the newspapers nearly everyday. However as a board member Canele is bound by law not to discuss such agreements. So Im not sure what your sources are but I find it highly unlikely that he has told anyone this in public.
As I have said before that we will be stronger with this agreement in place than not.

Something else that you all might think about, IMHO if there is a merger I think there will be a buyout offered for the top senior guys. While this cost in the short term it will benifit the company in the long term, as it will be longer for all to become topped out. So you junior guys you may be a lot more vaulable than you thought. Just something to think about.

From your lips to God's ears, Fuzz!!!!

Orioleman,

Touch`e my friend. I appreciate your comments and your honesty that goes a long way in my book. Sure we all are going to

have our views and disagreements thats democracy and I totally respect that. It's just when people talk out of their Arse without

any facts to back them up thats what I have a hard time with .

any way P rez just curious if . Dale and the boys thought PHX was going majority NO on this vote . think the O.T would still be offered

Thanks for the comments, your check is in the mail also, but the O.T. comment was a joke. I hope they are not offering O.T. that day.

Respectfully,

necigrad,

I thought the ATSB loan got paid off moths before the merger and CBA ammendable date both. Paying it off lifted all restrictions.

The scenario was with AWA as a stand alone carrier. The ATSB loan was paid off with financing from the merger.

Bascially your station would have to have fewer than 2 flights per day to be outsourced.
This is a big improvment so for you east field stations keep this in mind when your reading this

I got to tell you that under the east contract in 2005 or earlier, many east stations were contracted to Mainline Express, with operating no more than 2 or 3 mainline jets with a top out of 13.01 an hr At some stations, such as mine, the inside are Mainline and we have one mainline Airbus 319 jet a day ramp outsourced. of course with canary bird at the helm of th eiam look and see how many of those stations have at least 2 jets a day

Yup! Kinda thought it was true all along. The COC is untouchable. No one in the capacity on behalf of Fleet want to touch it. They don't know what it is. And isn't it funny that our new Direction Team hasn't spoken for or against anything for or against this vote.

So Sad! The party of Rich Delaney and NEW DIRECTION TEAM will only be a figurehead after RC is replaced.

Someone that oversees fleet workers after the June elections at the Grand Lodge, needs to speak out NOW! in behalf of ALL Brothers and Sisters.

It's too easy to have Hindsight. We need future leaders in IAM that can lead!

So far, it sounds like there is not a one! Only the outspoken on this site that dare to be bold.

Let's take it beyond mediocrity!

Canale has said things in the past that he legally shouldn't. He even did it when he was in LAS, and even said that he won't write it down, because he can deny he said it vocally, but written is a different thing. Don't remember what it was, but it was about UA, I think about a merger, and I did post about it. Canale is a snake who will say what he wants, as long as he thinks he might have a chance in getting away with it.

OK, got my timeline a bit wrong. Thanks.

Let me get this straight, you suggest we vote YES on this because we see the
way the economy is and nobody knows what can happen. Then you say vote YES on
this because the senior guys could get a nice buyout, in the future. So when it can
be used to get your YES vote its' acceptable to look to the future in either scenario.
''fuzz'' let me ask you this if you were to vote on May 8th at apx. 1700 and you were
told that the TA was not going to go through by your station, not me, would you still
vote YES and show that the group is divided or would you send a NO vote in as a message
that we stand together ?

My suggestion is we send a collective NO vote back and in doing so we tell the company
wait til 09' or go back to the table and make an offer that most of this group will find
acceptable. PHX, nothing against your opinions but a YES vote could get you bumped,
down graded or gone.......Most of us in PHL will not be effected by any influx of employees
but PHX looks nice if you have to move. I have 20++ years, where would I rank in seniority
in PHX because in PHL there are about 250 people in front of me.

I do hope everyone votes and in doing so vote with all the facts not with what may happen but
with what will happen. Read the papers and don't take the companys stance in why we need this.
They have mouthpieces to speak for them, they do not need us to do it for them. Canale and the
others need to tell the company our members need benifits because health care is going through
the roof. They need wages because housing is falling apart. They need security because they've
invested thier time in this company. We do not need our NC or our members speaking for the
company we need them to speak for themselves. DP and RI and SK all look out for themselves
yet we still need to show the company compassion. Let them give something back, they never
have nor never will, its' all us.

Thanks
