pit till death, spot on post from you, plus all those southwest mentions they get what 6 or 7 more an hr??

wanted to add one thing too pretty much everyone who transfered in from pit here are good workers good people and da*n good union peeps

uhhh Jester you're underpaid compared to United ,Delta Northwest, Continental,Southwes, do I need to go on?

Jester,

That's right and the West contract prevented furloughs? Oh wait... no, it didn't. Just ask CMH.

Yes, the TWU contract did protect jobs. If all 19 stations that are going to be outsourced in 2011 were under our TWU contract, they would still have jobs as long as the station remained open. CMH people were furloughed because they lost flight activity. Ask PB in CMH if our language helped him a few years ago. The answer will be F%$k yea.

P. Rez

I'm sorry... what did you tell me? That I wouldn't enjoy my sizable raise and another sizable raise in a few months? Oh, you mentioned, furloughs, right? That's right and the West contract prevented furloughs? Oh wait... no, it didn't. Just ask CMH.

Company stock under $2.50/share and you think this would have been a good time to push for more wage increases? I am so glad I got it when we did along with some time on the contract.

So Corrects Jester.
Never said a thing about furloughs,BUT now that you mentioned it...hope you have enough time to keep your job ,when the 19 cities are closed...my advice save your pennies that you got on the big raise.....especially now that your ins. just went up...401k GONE.....vacation slashed.,holiday pay, sick time...etc...etc.....the gross may look better, but check out the net....

Mr Jester do you suppose the majority of the aforementioned airlines ramp workers do any more work that we do?

However I am done discussing this with you . your hint that you support RC the many time proven to be a crook and soon to be ex District 141 Pres tells me all about your crediblty I need to know.

of course as I recall only 70 of you in PHX have a right to say anything about either ND08 or the other group running since that is all who bothered to vote.

must be tougher to get the vote out when it's not in the breakroom huh?

Mr. Jester
I speak about the 321s because I work at least 2 of them a day. I very seldom see a 737 and if I do it is usually a 400 with bowling alley bins. The area I work in has a lot of long haul A/C where the normal load is 5000 lbs or more both coming and going. We normally work in crews of 3 to a gate plus a lead. If the flight is extremely heavy more people will be added as needed.

Mr. Jester…

It’s that damn “bromideâ€â€¦ again… how bitter it is!

How ‘bout me ‘n yew quit buttin’ heads?

Let’s bury tha hatchet… be friends… yew know by now… I can match yahh… word for word…analogy to analogy… supposition to supposition…no holds barred! Let’s put tha Kool-Aid down and talk…

We wastin’ time otherwise…

P.S. I still got yer BBQ left over frum tha “Throw Down†in tha freezer…how come yahh didn’t show up?

Yer Southern Buddy…

Mr. Rat,

You need to review my past posts. I have never been a supporter of Boss Canale which does not mean I have supported the Nihilist Direction team either. In fact, I did support the IBEW when it was making noise around the various stations. As far as me not voting, I was hoping for a way that both sides could lose and a pox on both their houses! I guess I could have wasted my time, gone to the union hall, and just write, "Screw Both of You!" on the ballot, but I think the Simpsons marathon was on that day.

As for what other airline ramp agents are earning, again... I'll take the time I have now on the contract whilst those poor souls began to negotiate during the most difficult time in the US airline industry. By the time the crying ends, don't be surprised if those other airline ramp agents are closer to us in pay. As for the SWA guys, when I work as many turns as them in day, then I'll begin to clamor about being paid more.

So Repeats Jester.

Mr. Jester
I will compare the SWA daily work load with mine any day. If the truth be known I would be willing to bet they don't handle anywhere near as much cargo as I do in a single day. Regardless of how many "turns" they do in a shift. The logistics of their operation are very different than our operation.

I was looking through the COB's the other day, just for sh!ts and giggles and I found a Shift Manager's position in PHL that would be perfect for you. You could waste your breath and save everyone else the noise that you make here and probably (hope I never find out) in person, on all the suits that think just like you do.

As far as the community college remark, I think that you need to speak about what you know (excluding plagiarizing the NY Times, Washington Post and USA today as well as burning the thesaurus on your computer up) and not worry about my secondary education, which, by the way, is more than an associates degree.

I don't recall suggesting you did or did not vote just that your station as a whole did not

and when that 30yr Phl guy is on your beloved bagroom sofa just think of him as "Homer"

No, here's the joke... ready? I would be making under $11/hour for the next five years

So Rebukes Jester.

Here's another joke.......If you were only making $11/hr befort the t/a, that means you're not even topped out, which means that you don't even have 10 yrs on the job, which means, and here's the punch line.......you'll probably get bumped miserably or laid off.

Imagine paying $4 for gas when you're unemployed.

I have more time on the toilet than you do with the company and have been through more with this company than you probably ever will.

I think I'm done with your economic babble.
