That is unreal. Looks like PHL will be hiring, huh? I figured the moving trucks would be warming up once this intergration happened. I'm hping there is a mass exodus in CLT so I can maybe hold a day line with my lil ole 13 years. Am I the only dummy looking to move into a hub?

Jeep!

No sir,

After OEI any one can transfer except to a tower position, which is by COB and interview.

Do we have any more numbers? Maybe someone can post total numbers thus far? Also, any more rumblings from the international on fighting fleet to keep canoli. What a HUGE HUGE mistake that would be? The people who pay you spoke, listen to us, not a washed up, arrogant, egotistical, management lap dog like canoli. We know what is best for us, not you, or canoli. And freedum, did we not wait four years for a substandard agreement? Weren't you a HUGE supporter of throwing those 19 field stations under the bus for your raise? Was it not you that said take what we can now, work on getting more later? Why all of a sudden, you say, lets give more back to the company to save my brothers and sisters that I faught so hard to get rid of. I didn't mean it, I'm sorry. I'll give you guys my holidays, vacations, and sick time, but not my raise. WTF? The company made us wait four years, they can wait until our CBA is ammendable to ask for anything more from us, not 1 second sooner. Unless they want to file BK, until that happens, we got ours.

Hey O-man....what's an ol' geezer with 30 yrs looking at in clt? The misses likes Ft. Mill, SC...GF

Joe Dirt,

If the ramp ever becomes more efficient, then see into your future...

Single person in the forward B737 bin, 43 bags download in just over 2 minutes.

And Tim, that SWA kid doesn't look like any Superman to me, even when he tries to sell his tickets to the gun show at the end.

So Reviews Jester.

Rampers (guys and gals) in PHX do one person in a forward 737 bin all the time. One person in a 319, 320 and 757 forward bin all the time... Two in the front bin of a 737 is weak.

BAHAHAH! Good one Jest... "Gun show"

That kid has no idea what it is to unload. Try unloading a 757 or a 321 by yourself. THEN maybe you can start flexing hahaha!

THEN maybe he can try to load a 320 by himself. I can get 150 EASY.

What a little girl he is ahhaha.

Am I right 28L?

According to U-S Airways safety regulations, there is to be 2 persons loading and unloading EVERY bin. If you get injured loading or unloading an aircraft by yourself you will NOT get occupational injury pay......the company will state that you loaded or unloaded in an unsafe manner by working alone. This HAS happened and you will NOT get paid, not workers comp or your medical bills regarding your injury.

I know what your going to say already.....Management gave me a direct order to do so......in this case, my advice is to WORK SAFE and unload 1 bag at a time. You can not be diciplined for working safe. Just do not REFUSE to load/unload by yourself. If forced to do this, contact your union rep. immediately after working the flight and kill them with paperwork.

That kid seems really proud of himself. Must be new. Imagine if he had to do that on flights back-to-back day after day AND he is so broke that he has to do 16-hour shifts!

Mr Jester
That was a real weak load and pretty sloppy. I have done that more time than you will ever know and with a lot more than 43 bags. I was not impressed at all and it still doesn't address my original question. The bin looks like a FWD bin of a 737-300. My original question was this: How do you propose we unload an A321 with 6 to 8 thousand pounds on it and then turn around and load another 6 to 8 thousand back on with one guy in the bin? SWA whole fleet is 737 ours is not. FWIT: Most days I do 5 turns in an 8 hours day. The nature of the business we are in is we are either working wide open or doing nothing at all. The schedule dictates that for us not laziness on anyones part.

P.S. Looks like tickets to a BB gun show.

No, it's just the way it has been done for years in PHX. Two people in the front bin of a 737 would lead to raised eyebrows, shaking heads and serious questions about one's juevos, or lack thereof. There would be talk in the breakroom and it would not be flattering.

OOOH doing it. Hate to bust your bubble but . 1. there is no mad exodus leaving clt and 2. 13yrs isn't even going to get you

a partial weekend night shift. Sorry for the reality check.

Ooh guys, but when you have a great attitude, it doesn't matter what shift you work, does it? I will be happy to come in an sling bags with the owls, grave diggers, bats or whatever cute nickname night shift people use these days.
I'm just ready to go. Now when you all say night shift. what do the shifts look like? Off times?
